No rules about what Hauler is actually hauling...this works pretty good IMHO.

Finally opened mine and it was really bad QC. Stress marks, floppy joint tolerances. Goinga take it back and look for another one. Hoping for better QC on the next. Might even switch out the head for Artfires. The original figure box art looks like Artfires head.

Must be a random thing. Mine is totally fine. The only bad thing, and it's not even that bad, is that the paint for his face is somewhat sprayed onto the inside of the "helmet", but you don't really see that unless you get really up close.

The other thing I noticed that's kind of odd is that his head is hollow, so if you get light into the mouth you can see the peg that the head is mounted on, bright green like the rest of his base plastic. Not a big deal though.

I love the goofy scream face so much though. Totally worth the purchase.

So you're the one they designed that screaming head for!

I couldn't replace that head quickly enough.

The screaming head is the reason why I decided to buy Hauler.

Decided to finally pick him up after passing him up multiple times. I still do not like that he's using the Grapple head, nor that it's been remolded to be screaming, but his joints are tight and the ER Grapple mold is a really fun toy, one of my stand-outs from Earthrise, so he's still a very enjoyable figure. Just to differentiate between him and Grapple, I have him with the large claw replacing his right hand instead of the little laser thing Grapple and Inferno have.

Something in particular that jumped out is that I was able to move the base of the crane to the left (from the front, right from the back), presumably to replicate the position of these cranes on actual crane trucks. Roadhauler's is in the center, Grapple's is shifted:

I never realized that was a feature, so maybe I'll do that with Grapple in the future. At least I hope it's a feature and not me dragging down the lifespan of these toys.

I dont dislike the screaming face, but I'd at least like the option of a stoic face.

I have zero complaints aside from that.

Well, that and the plastic windowless packaging, but that's not Hauler's fault. I've been having to add my own plastic windows...

I do love the screaming face. Sets him apart and the opening is a hole all the way though the face to the mushroom peg port of the head... so... a tiny bit of 'Constructicon green' is visible inside his mouth.

It isn't. You're just sliding it off the mushroom peg it's attached on, so it's more of a happy coincidence.
