The combinations have been things Mark comes up with once everything is done. None of it's "official."

It was done with the fossil fellows and the junkions so I assume the Rockies are combining as well

The Fossilizier combiner was literally something Mark came up with the night before. Junkion combiner was also Mark's own idea. They're not official, they're Mark showing what you can do.

Yes. All of the rock bots this year have some level of modularity like previous years.

Yes exactly that, I want to see what they can do together as a last minute idea and see their potential before I buy them

Most of the pics don’t show him being a modulator. I’m assuming that it will be shown in the livestreams this month.

Sorry but I'm not settling for a retool of this thing. It's roughly $75-$80 for a combination that's shorter than ER Optimus...

A legit Dinoking should be at least Legacy Menasor scale and better quality. HasTak knows this so they might be hedging their bets. If I'm wrong and it's something better then we all win...

Do not eat the plastic toys. I know they look delicious, but it is not healthy. It is forbidden. You have to imagine that they're like Silica packets, with bold caps lettering: DO NOT EAT.

They will have the honour of being the first Weaponiser/Armoriser figure that I will buy on release, without second thought, and without having to wait for a discount.

It's so funny how the designers keep going unfathomably hard on Deluxe Class helicopter 'bots, in recent years, but I'm absolutely not complaining. They look lovely.

The pterodactyl head crest was only designed to flip out like that for the sake of the combined mode, so designating it as only something he came up with the night before undercuts what went into designing it

I have my doubts given that they show Magneous and Bouldercrash in weapon mode being used by Shard. Seems like something we should have seen anything about given how many pictures we've seen of Shard

If these figures had transformed into literal, non-vehicular rocks, we would've been seeing a flood of, "Is Hasbro really expecting us to spend $30 on figures that turn into nothing!?" think pieces, along with all the variants that come with it.

I do think their detachable parts should be able to be cobbled together into a coherent, officially-configured rock, but, otherwise, giving them vehicle alt modes is absolutely the right move, IMO.

Very nice. It's obviously not, you can see the underside, but I would've loved his tail being segmented

While I certainly appreciate a weaponizer helicopter... I don't see the vehicle mode as necessary to them being rock-elemntals, nor vice versa.
Having "a" robot mode possible from a collection of parts seems a logical branch in the opposite direction of the Junkions that were done, but otherwise I would have been OK with "MeteArmories"... like, OK, they look like various rocks once they make planet-fall, but really they're main purpose are weapons caches. I'm remembering when "protoform optimus prime" basically had alt mode of "metal tear drop."

While he still looks good, I\'m disappointed to see that his guns just do the standard \"plug into the hands\" thing instead of actually covering them like ones like Offroad Bumblebee and his MPM versions. I just think he\'d look better with his guns basically as his forearms, even if just by hiding inside his guns. It\'d just make him feel even more inhuman, er, unrobotic...?
