Well in everything that has happened lately, not sure if spencer will
be able to give info on any upcoming remakes. Is there anywhere else to find
info on any upcoming remakes? To me, I always looked forward to Spencers info on
up coming remakes. I for one still want to know whats coming in the future.
Im still waiting to see whats up with the Sunstreaker and wheeljack.

If there is anyone out there feel free PM me or emial if you have info, cuz i still want to know whats coming in the remake/ko line.

Please Please this thread is for people who still are interested in Remakes especially things like the Clear Optimus.

    Thanks :)

I'm also hoping that Wheeljack and Sunstreaker appear at some point. My collection needs them!

Also any info on the possible Shockwave KO would be nice.

As far as I know, no news since the original delay from last October for Sunstreaker & Wheeljack, which is sort of weird with other releases being quickly announced and released since them.

Their KO boxes have been on ebay for a good while though so I assume they're still coming (but then again I think they originally planned to do a full Constructicons gift set not just the box). Clear versions of them would be interesting.

I wish someone (KO makers maybe?) would remake some of those hard-to-find pieces of TFs in a slightly different color. Like headmaster and powermaster guys, guns, gestalt parts, Fort Max bits, etc. If they were a different shade of color then no one would get ripped off thinking they were originals, but the rest of us poor-arse shmucks could buy without bankrupcy.

Also, since Hasbro will likely never be legally able to re-release Shockwave from what I understand, a KO of him would rock!

I don't advocate KOs and remakes but www.thetoyvalley.com is a good resource for them. I use the site to order other releases and they have always had info for KOs and remakes on there. It's not everything, but it's a good start.

Hi, I've been lurking here for a while now but I can help out here so it's a good place to start posting I guess...

Regarding the Clear Op KO - I just picked one of these up as I seem to be on a quest to pick up as many G1 variants as possible at the mo.
The one I received came with clear gun (pointy not fat version) no gold chrome, and no matrix, unlike the pics on the eBay auctions. The chest is obviously not diecast unlike every other version I have seen. Thighs, lights, and hubcaps are all silver chromed. Missile launchers and Roller launcher in the trailer both work (very well, like all the KO versions). Plastic quality is a little better then the other KO versions, which are quite reasonable although not quite Has/Tak quality. There are one or two small marks from the other colours that have been in the mold, but literally just one or two small dots. The clear plastic does show up all the imperfections of the mold/plastic though, but again it isn't bad at all.

I have a couple of the other KO primes and they are all very good in KO terms, the original colour version is very close to the original out of the box, but you can just tell the difference between the KO and a a genuine Op with them in your hands. Some aspects of the mold are not as sharp as they once were I guess.

The price eBay is asking is a bit high really, I got a deal at £60 shipped US to UK by EMS. I agree it's too much and we'll probably see these Primes knocked out every couple of years now so I doubt they have any collector value. I got him just to add to my assortment of colours of the mold, they look great together. Personally I'd love to have fluorescent green, glo-in-the-dark and the rest, bring it on. I don't really agree with the close copy KO's in general, but the odd colour versions of Prime I just love. Try not to think where the money that bought these is ending up though :(

That reminds me Toy Hell usually has a good selection of KOs too, never ordered from them, but I've spent plenty of time "window shopping" on there.

I don't know that the odds are very likely of them making any of the figures like Jetfire that have a large amount of die-cast to them.

Anyone have more details about Ages 3 and Up being asked to remove KO listings? I can't seem to find any more detail about it than this.
