Where can others read that? I've never heard anything about them retiring Optimus from the movies.

 

My problem with this site is people are attacking one person giving their opinions with THEIR family which in all honestly is none of your business I made a statement. And no, he is being controlled there is a BIG difference here so don't try that BS with me.

And no we have no way of knowing if he's legit being mind controlled or if he really believes what he's doing is for the greater good. I'm more inclined to go with the later because he says "forgive me" to Bumblebee during their fight. He wouldn't say that if he was mind controlled.

 

No one knows if he is saying I'm sorry to Bee or if he saying in another part of the movie. His optics are purple seriously you are honestly going to say he isn't being controlled.

 

Fair enough, although I'm betting it gets there eventually.

 

Can you post a link? Not saying I don't believe you but something like that from Hasbro or Paramount would have Bee ALL OVER THE NET, if said.

 

And no one knows the extent of his mind control. Again in the trailer he also goes "My maker I do" to her question if he seeks redemption. It might imply that he's willingly giving up so she can give him more power so he can "save cybertron".

A good guy having a crisis of consciousness, going evil and then realizing what he's done tries to fix it is only of the biggest tropes in story telling.

Lady you literally came into a thread, said a dumb thing and people asked you to explain it. Then you started screaming about how "we don't know you family" (no duh) and stated a bunch of stuff that makes no sense. You literally are being irrational. More so than most people on this site.

Me, I didn't realize you were a mom earlier; honestly I mainly responded to you because I saw your comment on a different thread about you "warning your friends not to see it". Which reminded me of back when I had a friend from high school that was like "hey don't go see RotF, it sucks so bad!!" and I was like "oh ok" and long story short that was how I temporarily left the Transformers fandom and ended up hanging out in the Twilight fandom instead which is a good chunk of my life I can never get back...  

tl;dr: PLEASE let people see what they wanna see (but if you're trying to protect young minds, I can understand that)

So you believe Optimus is being controlled? Then obviously he isn't the bad guy, and you should have no reason to not show your kids.  

 

Perhaps it was a rumour, but I can't find the Official statement
