    Mouth04 of the Allspark has mentioned that auditions have been held in the LA area for the next TF series, the character being auditioned are:
    Optimus Prime
    Megatron
    Bumblebee
    Ultra Magnus
    Prowl
    Starscream
    Plus some human characters.

    It would be REALLY cool if they looked like the classics versions in the cartoon.

    ...not that I really expect them to.

    What we do know is that it's Cartoon Network's property this year. I wouldn't doubt Daniel's news personally, just because of his connections with how hard he's pushed for voice acting (I wonder if he's gone out there to audition?).

    I like hearing "Ultra Magnus" in the cartoon (first since RiD, G1).

    Especially because it's FINALLY going to be an American-made show. Maybe he'll have some hints of G1 Magnus.

    I'm hoping they go towards the RID line, with Magnus and Prime having something in common *OTHER THAN* being the exact same toy.

    Eh I dunno, the brother thing seems really played out now. I'd rather they flesh out Ultra Magnus - soldier. They never did much of that in G1, he was mostly Ultra Magnus - crony.

    That's pretty neat. Seeing those names makes me think of the classics lineup. Yeah, I know there isn't a Prowl or Magnus in the classics line at this point, but the rest are in there...and Hasbro does have current (read: classics) toy molds of the rest of those listed characters, ripe for the merchandising...

    Why is it since the first news we heard of the 'plot' made me think of a American Medabots?

    Yeah... I think the best portrayal of his personality was when he and Cyclonus and that human chick got captured by a Quintesson. That was cool. I liked that episode a lot.

    Those names make it seem like they are going to do a modern version of the G1 cartoon.

    It's gonna be really cool to see Bumblebee and Ultra Magnus in a current TV series again. :)

    Well, no Prowl, but there's definitely a Magnus.

    I can't imagine this show will use the Classics designs, though, since those toys will be gone (at least mostly) from stores by the time it airs.

    And, yeah. Put me down as the 147th person to say, "Yay, Magnus!" (I still want a UM repaint of Evac....)

    Eh... sounds like Megs is hurtin' for troops. I'd rather see Sideswipe and Sunstreaker so they could go at it like the DW comics

    But there is a Magnus in Classics, 2 packed with Skywarp.
    I like this line up. I'm looking forward to more Decepticon names though, hopefully a Soundwave will get put in there.

    I just hope they don't turn Megatron into Galvatron half way thru this series.
    Would much rather see Megs and Gav both on screen at the same time.
