Third Party companies should start working on these designs NOW

 

They did my boy hound proud. These all look incredible! I want figures now. It\'s a shame whatever game these were made for is cancelled...

 

These are what make me happy honestly.  Updated, very respectful of the characters they share a name with.  I\'d love a series with these as the designs.

 

Damn these go hard, the only design I don't care for is Devastator and only because he's so w I d e.

Also I see that Generations Blurr, very nice callback to a personal favourite. I hope we get Drift and Sideburn as well.

 

I love the wide designs, they remind me of Armada and WFC/FOC designs.

 

It'd be nice to get some callbacks to them as well if we can get a character as obscure as Roulette.

EDIT: Just found out this a game that has come and gone rather than one that's coming up, oh well rip.

I’m absolutely in love with that Starscream. Anything else out there with that aesthetic?

 

Honestly, really like the Cheetor-like mouths. Gives em personality while making em more realistic.

 

Not a fan, personally. I normally love me some greebly stuff, but this feels a tad over detailed; too busy. Weird aesthetic they're choosing.

Not thrilled about the beef-caked proportions on some of the bots, either, namely Prime, Megs, Bonecrusher, and Soundwave. Unless you're a 40K space marine, or something, you don't need shoulders to be that wide.

Grimlock just looks strange in T Rex mode. I don't like that.

Good to see some more of the girls though!

 

Fuck you I LOVE a big Shoulder Pads, their my favorite design aesthetic of Transformers. It makes them look like cool stylish and powerful soliders. Also Grimlock’s alt mode isn’t awful to me either. It gives me a Legendary Godzilla vibe for some reason. I can see why you don’t like this though, they look like they have strayed far from the classic G1 source material, but still have that spirit in them. And that’s what’s important, that they have spirit.

 

Yeah, PotP voyager Starscream basically embodies this style - I happen to strongly dislike it.

And to be clear, there is a distinct difference between this style and the Siege line style - the latter I have no problem with.

 

I'm not a Geewunner by any means, but they need to commit to one or the other. This seems like it's stretched thin in certain areas.

I don't mind chonk, but these aren't well proportioned, imo. Except maybe Blurr, and even then.

 

That shockwave design is a stunner, and it looks like someone knows what to do with Wheeljack

 

These updated designs look great! A 3P should pick these up and make them. 

 

Yeah I think I see now why some of you aren’t 100% towards this aesthetic, do some of the male bots look like they have caveman promotions to you? Like this for example:

 

I like some of the ideas. The Constructicons really seemed to have been designed with an eye towards making toys of them with the kibble being on full display, no shame, not trying to hide things away like wheels etc. But I see others are yeah some are just too hench. Maybe this is a limit of the game like they have only two male rigs and so some buys get bulked up to match that.

 

Huh. It's certainly a unique aesthetic, and at the very least I appreciate trying something beyond G1 toon

 

Dang, the charcter designs are actually really cool. I wish we has gotton them in the game and I wish we got figures of them cause they look sick and how long has it been since we got a Slipstream figure?
