"bisexual lighting" started as basically a lighthearted meme amongst a lot of LGBTQ+ people whenever pink and blue lights, mixing to create purple in the middle, is used in movies, videos, art, etc. for like striking visuals, because it happens to be the colors of the bisexual flag

 

My guy I didn’t come up with the term. It’s just bisexual lighting? It doesn’t change the colours. Same way you can describe lighting as warm if there’s lots of reds and oranges. Doesn’t make it less red and orange it just is a descriptor.

 

This. BBTS in particular has offered every Haslab product for a markup once the campaign ended, just not sure how long it usually takes them.

 

I had no idea... Honestly, none... I just would say the colors. Now I know. I'm sure it use to be half the battle but I'm sure it's something else now too.

 

Eh, I don’t know how widespread it is. I’m around a lot of queer spaces so it’s probably more common a term for someone like me. Don’t sweat it.

Random thing I was thinking about yesterday: As cool as the Holi and Fire micromasters are, it's less cool considering they're just recolors of WFC Stakeout and Red Heat. It would've really put it over the top if they had included new little molds of the complete quartet so that it would have Boater and Pipo as well. Especially considering that if you were to rank how important any of them were to the Victory story Fire was probably the least significant of the 3 as Boater and Pipo at least each got an episode where they got a reasonable amount of screentime.

I know that it's a cost thing and that making a pair of brand new micromaster molds would easily be a lot more expensive than simply running existing molds in new plastic colors, but this indifferent dismissal of Boater's greatness will not stand!

Alternatively it might've been fun if instead of Fire they had re-used the Siege Hyperdrive mold with some minor modifications to make Clipper as an homage to the fact that the Zone character Gingham was a essentially a perfectly good stand-in for Clipper in the original Micromaster runs and Gingham himself was a recolor of the original Hyperdrive.

But of course this is quite probably the single least important aspect of the Victory Saber pack to be obsessing over  .

 

Tbh I’m okay with them being repaints. Because they look much better than the originals imo. I do hope we get a Pipo and Boater at some point (core class I’d assume).

Powerboobs. Or possibly Boobmasters. Or I believe in my Victory watch I repeatedly referred to them as the "Titforce" after running through just about every other slang term for breasts that I could think of.

Because in the end we're all a group of people talking about plastic robot toys, so the answer is: yes, we are all still mentally 7 years old and giggle and boob jokes. Thanks for asking!  

 

Well, it stinks that Micromasters didn't sell better in Siege and Earthrise and were phased out. So many Patrol teams need to be completed, including the Rescue Patrol!

And it's a double bummer larger Micromasters bases weren't released, such as Skystalker and Countdown. Then we could have had the Victory Thunder Arrow and Shuttle Base!

Who knows, maybe Micromasters can return with bases and multipacks or versus packs in the Titan or Commander classes someday!

 

We might get the rest of them packed in with future Victory releases in mainline still

 

in some alternate timeline, Star Saber won the POTP vote, and we got an Optimal Optimus haslab thing instead.

New molds would cost too much, so much so that we wouldn’t get the shield. Also these characters were just redecos of those same figures in the 80s so it’s not like there really is anything that would need to be changed.
