For the changing numbers I’m pretty sure you get like a monthish to cancel it. So there could be people just feeling regret now that the money is gone and deciding to no longer back it.

As much as I get the funding was for Victory Saber, I wish they would give us a front and back of Star Saber.

WOW. I, like everyone, am pleased with the result, but this video should have been out Sunday at the latest! Great shots of the figure and you can see the grooves in the chest markings are still there. Pleased this campaign reached its goal in the end, but the timing/operation on Hasbro’s side could’ve been a heck of a lot better...

 

I would argue the transformers property is more important than star wars for hasbro, when considering all the different lines they make plus the fact they make all the licensing money from other companies TF products. Not saying star wars isnt top 3 just that in the he last 5 years star wars hasbro products have slowed dramatically while marvel and transformers have increased.

 

Well they also own transformers. I don’t know about the contracts they have with Disney over Star Wars and Marvel but there is a chance that Disney could take away there toy making rights (or just not renew the contract or whatnot) but with Transformers they, along with Takara Tomy, own it. No one can take it away.

 

Hasbro has yet to "get more mileage" out of any Haslab mold, so a rerelease of the Haslab Star Saber, while possible, is not probable

 

Star wars is definitely no longer in the top 3.

 

What would beat it out?

I don’t really pay attention to many non-Transformers toy brands tbh.

 

I def am starting to think SS will get a new mold at some point then rerelease Haslab SS.

 

TBF, there have only been two Transformers HasLab projects.

 

I think this talk of a new Star Saber (already?) is getting old, just people saying the same things over again. At this point we don’t know HasTaks plan for this character. Could their be a new one? Maybe. But we don’t know definitively.

 

Marvel and nerf are the top two. Star wars hasn't recovered from 2018, where it crumbled HARD.

 

That's basically why I ended up backing this thing at the 11th hour.
