Where do you get your raw data for these graphs? I was only able to make a chart because of the guy who posted the daily breakdown here. I never found that data elsewhere.

 

Lio Convoy looks small there. Must be the picture.

 

And they made new Dinobots 3 years ago and Stunticons 4 years ago but here we are getting new animation accurate versions. Plus those were just retools so that makes it even more likely for them to get a do-over.

 

He's about the same size as the original Ultra class Optimus Primal, maybe a bit slimmer but still a good bit taller than Kingdom Primal who he should be around the same height as

 

Anyone gotten charged for this yet?

 

I guess for scale's sake, a new chug Lio Convoy is needed.

Liokaiser would certainly benefit from being a Haslab, moreso than any other combiner. This would ensure their animal partners are done right, & throw in Death Cobra as a tier; make him able to be subbed in for Hellbat as a limb, & we have a winner!

As far as Lio Convoy, I really hope we get him, but I don't see a reason to do him through Haslab; he could easily slot into the mainline.

 

I think a proper God Ginrai set or God Fire Convoy set would be a no-brainer future project, considering they’re both Optimus Prime toys and will easily be backed. But if HasLab wants to think outside the box and do challenging crowdfund ideas, theres plenty of either obscure or neglected characters out there that they can cherry-pick and give some love. I nominate DinoForce, just for the hell of it.
That’s probably a bad choice tho, considering the media and toy source material (do you give them pretender shells, or make their alt modes the pretender shells?) and that most ‘villains’ sell less than hero toys

I always pictured him being like Grimlock or Jetfire to Optimus.

 

In the crossover movie where Primal and Lio met they were about the same height, at most I'd fudge the scale a bit and make him similar size to Kingdom Tigatron since lions and tigers are about the same size, or figure out a way to have their beast modes be similar size but have Lio collapse enough to be closer to Primal's height in bot mode.

 

Probably 30k when all said and done.

Applies? I'm not sure I understand what you're getting at with that part, I'm not saying the series wasn't guilty, that figure just didn't spring to my mind immediately. And all they really did with it was Silverbolt, Cyclonus, and Scattershot, with Fun Pub turning him into Sea Clamp.

Things have changed at market considerably since Prime Wars, there's a lot more exclusives, figures that would have been mainline are now falling under that umbrella where with PW they wouldn't have. ER Cliffjumper has birthed 5 more versions of that mold, 3 new characters; Kingdom Huffer has 3 more versions already all of which are new characters; Siege Sideswipe has barfed out 10 more versions of that mold in one form or another, 4 more characters from that; some of those would have been mass market pre-COVID. Terrorsaur is an example of a figure that would have been mass market as well, and it's the second new character to come out of the Airazor mold in a pretty short amount of time.
