Yeah my guy I’ll call you a child if log on to start talking about how designers should feel ashamed of themselves.

“I don’t like the design of this toy, I think it looks horrible” =/= “The people who spent months dedicated to this project should feel ashamed of themselves”

If you think those statements are the same then buddy you have some growing up to do.

Micromasters deserve horrible molds as much as any other Transformer out there.

See, some of the Japanese continuity bots past Headmasters I wasn't as familiar with back then as I am now so I didn't really get why people were so up-in-arms over Roberts treatment of Star Saber and Dai Atlas.

I still like his take but at least I understand the anger at it by many.

Niiice! I actually have it right now but that is a bit of a relief on the wallet.

So how does the brainmaster work? It's clearly not the same as the original, but is it like the MP version?

Smaller than a Headmaster, the face is on a hinge that flips up. The Brainmaster sits on a turret bucket in Saber mode, so head articulation's not impeded.

That's really clever, I look forward to seeing it in person. If the figure gets made of course.

Man I don\'t want more blast effects.. I was hoping it might be more than just a gun and effects. Hopefully the next two tiers are.

Higher tiers are the things that matter more. That's why they're higher - an incentive for more backers.

Or better yet, let's ignore the shitty Siege/ER Micromaster molds and advocate for better molds for those characters. So much better can be done with figures that size.

A redeco of a figure as low-quality as Siege Stakeout? Really...?

There's still 2 more tiers to see. Patience.

So glad I sold my MP Star Saber and KFC Victory Leo. This set looks really fun to mess around with.

I’m guessing the mystery tiers could be mini figures of the human cast or maybe a cape for POTP Predaking.

Hopefully it does! I actually funded it this time (not repeating the Unicron mistake... plus Star Saber looks cool). We're nearly at 1/3rds there in just the first day; I hope we get it funded!!!

Well now that they have unveiled the newest Haslab Transformer offering, I think you know what time it is! The return of the
    Semi-daily Funding Graph!!!!!*

    Star Saber cutoff line.jpg

Right now we stand at a whopping 3,442 at the time of the initial graph production. That's an incredible feat for less than 24 hours. As you can see it took Haslabicron approximately 41 days to reach that same point two years ago. While there should be a slowdown in backers over the next few days, having the campaign nearly a third of the way to completion right off the bat bodes well for its success, especially since these are purely North American numbers. Once it hits the international scene, and in particular the Japanese market, it would be very surprising if Star Saber does not at the very least meet its production requirements. Stay tuned for more exciting updates as I put the "FUN" in the
    Semi-daily Funding Graph!!!!!*

*title is currently being workshopped and is not final.

I mean that the micromaster line was pretty much all terrible.

I\'m still pondering on the purchase. For that kind of money, I would expect no gaps in the arms, forearms, thighs, weapons, etc... I\'m tired of having to buy gap fillers to complete their otherwise well-engineered off-the-shelf bots. Is this something that would have sold as a leader class a couple of years ago?... Do other Haslab projects have unsightly gaps, or are they hoping we\'ll accept this as \"normal\" at this price point? Like Masterpiece used to be actual Masterpieces, and sized accordingly.

People keep complaining about the arm gaps on Saber but even the MP version had gaps on the arms where the hands flipped in. Plus price wise he wasn't much different adjusting for inflation from 2015 to now and you didn't get Victory Leo. Personally it's not something I'm even going to think about because I'll never display him as Saber.

The only thing about this I'm remotely tentative about is a slight fear that this existing at all might suggest we're unlikely to ever see a general Generations release of Star Saber. (Not saying it does, but it makes me fear it could.) I also feel like a paired down version of this at the Commander Class price point released sometime in the future would've arguably made more sense.

Unless they truly don't believe it would sell or be feasible with that budget. Which in turn makes me fear other projects we've been waiting for (Armada Prime among others, or possibly a complete set of Armada Prime, Armada Jetfire, and Overload) might "get Haslab'd" instead of seeing normal releases.

But other than that, this is awesome and much more reasonably priced than I would've expected. Scale disagreements aside, I think they look great for what they are and that this is a very cool idea for a Haslab release. Better this than it never existing at all outside of MP imo.
