buyer pays the additional shipping fee, so i didn't include it in my calculations.
Could someone throw up a livestream of the count and we can do a watch party? I'd do it if I knew how to make an auto-refresher.
Ah. So $330 sale price but then the buyer is likely looking at say $385 total cost including shipping and sales tax.
Sadly, I lack the funds and space to go all out like that, but I totally would if I could.
Credit card interest is based on an annual rate. It wouldn't be 20% a month, it would be 20%/12 = 1.67%
So that calculates out to about $46 total over the 14 months, again not accounting for compound interest.
Would be really awesome if we got to 20k on our own and then Hasbro reveals the fourth tier and then puts out takaras numbers that will probably bring us to 25k
Or.....if your credit card does charge you 20% a month, Ill consolidate your loans for just 10% a month! Win, win!
$46 x 5 = $230 credit card interest + $1000 initial cost = $1230
ebay fee 10%? = $123 + $1230 = $1353
$1353 / 4 = $338 to break even, buyer pays shipping etc.
TIL TFW2005 has accountants as members!
Um, hello? I'm right here!
The HeroQuest project is in that boat a bit. Now, HeroQuest was a different HasLab beast, but it failed to meet its last 3 (I think) tiers. HeroQuest had about 10 tiers, with extra quests and minis along the way. The final tier was a dragon mini and a quest book written by Joe Manganiello. Alas, it didn’t make it, and we were sad.
Well, as the ship date got closer, Hasbro announced that they were including that last tier anyway. Huzzah! Much rejoicing! It probably had something to do with Joe himself pushing Hasbro to release his quest, and again, HeroQuest was different from the start. It’s also probably irrelevant here. But interesting to note.
400 to go and 12 hours. In what universe does this not hit all 3 tiers?
A universe where the Decepticons win.
Or the Dead Universe
The one where all international orders are in fact already in the total, and there's a server crash on pulse (like, the building catches fire and melts all the servers), preventing any more orders from being added for the next 12 hours.
The one where those "stick it to the corporate types" win and they suddenly get 10k to back out of their orders to "teach em a lesson"
Less than 400 to go. Feel incredible joy being able to back something like this for once.
