A rebuttable:

A lot of people here are looking at a perspective reissue through the lens of a customer instead of the producer side. Indeed from Hasbro/Haslab’s point of view a reissue completely hamstrings all future Haslab projects. We have all talked in this thread about the importance of that last minute push for these pseudo-crowdfunded campaigns and how they are largely driven by a sense of FOMO. If you present the likelihood that the product will be offered at a later time outside of the campaign window, you greatly reduce the FOMO motivation. Fence-sitters and perhaps even a number of decided backers might then delay their support thinking that they will buy the product up the next time it comes around. This results in fewer sales, fewer tier goals reached, potentially fewer projects funded, and a general weakening of the entire Haslab concept.

I won't say OpOp was crap, when upgraded he's at least serviceable in my opinion, but a POTP Star Saber would have been even more lacking

 

You have to agree to the terms for each individual purchase, it doesn't matter how many transactions you make.

Also would be pointless work to code a page that doesn't show it based on a customer having a specific item as part of their order history.

 

Even if we don't reach 20k I'm sure a 3rd party source will just make a duplicate sheild and we can still buy those mini figures whose name I forgot literally anywhere so I'm not too worried.

Eh, I just wouldn't have bought it. Hoping that Hasbro doesn't see that as: Star Saber the character bad, won't sell. When it was really because the toys looked like crap.

 

I did back the figure (I think I'm in the 880's or something).Hoping for BBTS or TCP to put up some PO's to get a second (willing to go as high as 280 with a deposit for a second that can be paid for at release)
I was saying the options offered would be ways they could re-release the figure and not ruffle my feathers. The reason this figure feels different is its relatively low cost, and the fact its such a prominent character. Unicron, besides the price, would have been almost too big for even the glory days of toy stores (Probably treat it like a pedal car or bike, and get a stock slip for him). Unicron is what I would expect for a crowd fund.

Hmm… bit weird that there hasn’t been any bump from international orders. I’m sure we’ll hit third tier once Takara orders get added but maybe there are no other international orders left?
