One of us, one of us, one of us
At least all this new support will get us closer to the cannon. We probably won't get the shield with needing like 8K in the span of 9 days, but fair enough. It's a thing, and besides. Someone's probably just gonna make Upgrade kits for the shield if we don't get it, and it's not like the Micromasters really matter.
I'm already a backer because it's Star Saber, but these photos are making me all the more justified in my decision. Having those photos of Saber next to Victory Leo and then Victory Leo next to Star Saber really shows how big this guy is going to be. I'd estimate the fully combined Victory Saber could stand head to head with any CW/UW Combiner give or take a few millimeter, and he might as well since he costs about the same as an import combiner gift set. This guy is gonna be a set piece no matter what mode you put him in. Yes, even the base mode give or take some add-ons to make it look more base mode like.
Galactus wasn't even funded 5 days before the end of the campaign. It ended 3x over goal and about 10k over the last stretch goal.
If we do get to the $20,000 mark I really hope Hasbro will at some point make molds for Boater and Pipo to go along with Holi and Fire.
Man Hasbro was really sand bagging it starting off with those unpainted grey protoypes! Good idea as it gave the painted reveal more impact.
And as for the base mode, it's called the Van Damme!
To be honest, the fully painted pic with the stand is what sold me. It's so much more impressive with that stand. I really hope it at least hits 17K.
Man this looks so good I absolutely can't not wait to get this in my hands. My actual complaint and only complaint I have is how many backers they need to unlock these tiers.
I know this batch of new photos are of a hand painted prototype but man this looks good. Doesn’t even make me feel bad about skipping the MP.
Is the final product supposed to be fully painted? I don’t know where this fits in my collection but I think I’ll be bummed later if I don’t grab one.
I still think it may be on a slow roll as they haven’t officially announced tier 3 rewards yet
these painted images give it so much more of an offering now, I’m very pleased with the decision to back this, I mean it has so much to it
Ok so in the final days of galactus, how much was his numbers and the tiers he was at before the surge?
Oh ye of little faith.
I already wanted the shield, but I won't say no to more Micromasters. Love the little guys almost as much as I love my Titans.
They did announce them, at least via Instagram.
Galactus funded at 14k on the wed before it closed. 5 days left, it then made 32k on Monday night
What’s the target audience for this figure ? Just for fans of the character ? Being a MP strictly collector yes I like this , but , if it doesn’t blend well with the rest of my figures I can’t justify the funds . The articulation , as well as the fit & finish all has to be as modern as the rest of the current MP’s. Though if this is chug scale , as well as that style figure then I say it’s a hard pass .
Uhhh....the shield and Micomasters are tier 3.
It's Chug scale
We've been talking about the scale and target audience for a while, now. The combined form is roughly the same size as Commander-class Jetfire from Siege, so that alone already aimed it at CHUG collectors, not MP.
Besides, a Masterpiece-scaled Star Saber already exists. Go buy that if you're so disappointed with the fact he's getting his first actual western release.
