Almost got the black version of this a while back. Honestly glad I held out because this is so much better for a similar price point.

Ok, Victory Saber is funded, now is time to work in titan class Liokaiser with Deathcobra and Lyzack as tier goals

Lio Convoy, Overlord, Black Shadow, LioKaiser - which didn't even make it to Japan. Not to mention several Botcon exclusives. Hasbro has a short-term memory problem.

Are you talking about the old Mega SCF line? They were pretty much Takara's answer to Banda's MSA Gundam line at the time. 5" figures with articulation and accessories and alt hands.

I think he means that he has a Revoltech Rodimus.

It's not really about honesty, it's about when they get around to it. If you get information at your job, do you always act on it immediately? Adding a tally of affiliate orders is likely not a 'gotta do it immediately' type of task.

Overlord was also released in the UK & Australia (plus potentially other territories with the exception of the US), Black Shadow is a remold (first of Thunderwing, then said Overlord) as is Liokaiser (from various CW figures) whilst I believe Lio Convoy was simply imported by Hasbro, along with Magmatron & a few others (like the current Pulse releases of Japan Exclusive Gen Selects figures)

I realise it’s just semantics and marketing guff, but ‘technically’ Victory Saber is the first exclusive who they’ve made as a brand new figure, as opposed to a new head / minor remold or someone who was also released in other territories.

If we're playing with semantics, TR Overlord is technically the retooling of TR Black Shadow, since Black Shadow preceded him.

So TR Black Shadow is truly "the first Japanese exclusive character who they’ve made as a brand new figure in the US".

Yeah, I saw him mention the Revoltech. I was asking for clarification because his post made it seem like he wasn't sure which Rodimus he had, and both Revoltech and Mega SCF did a figure of him.

Finally backed today, but I'm wondering about the pre-authorization, My bank says I have a pre-authorization of $0 from Hasbro pulse and I'm wondering if it changes to $180 before the campaign ends for card authorization then the full charge on the end of backing, when I called Hasbro pulse the agent said I'm one of the lucky ones that got a $0 versus $180 pre-authorization for card confirmation wondering if anyone else has had that

I posted these a few weeks ago in this thread, but thought I’d show them for y’all who missed them (and Robot Masters in general. :D  )

    Sorry for the repeat!

Since Star Saber was "allegedly" testing the waters to see if JG1 toys would do well in the states, do you guys think that SS and other japanese characters might start to show up more regularly in western transformers media?

Interesting. I don't get pre-authorizations at all anymore from Pulse. Never saw a single charge for Galactus until the day after the campaign ended and it's the same for Star Saber. Same with normal preorders through them. Preordered both the X-Force and Excalibur three packs from their site and didn't see a pre-authorization on those either.

TR Black Shadow wasn't new to the US though since he had an older Generations figure that was a retool of Thunderwing. Star Saber has never seen a western release at all

That would be the hope. Hasbro has been itching to do something - the Power of the Primes poll at least revealed that much with not only featuring Star Saber but also Dezarus as possible candidates to be "The Next Prime". And, of course, they gave Overlord a full fledged figure in Titans Return, although I feel like he deserves a Commander treatment.
