In fact him being big might be a problem for those of us who have little shelf space for our collection hahaa

It seems the majority of individuals who want this item have already backed it. I'm not sure how the revealed of Shield will suddenly encourage more backers to warrant it. Are there that many people that will only purchase if the shield is potentially included?

For some folks, it's all or nothing.

 

Call me old-fashioned then, but I would have guessed buyers would pay for the actual item and not for a secondary accessory.

 

It's just a rationalization and largely posturing, just like the people who say they're going to stop buying deluxes over a $3 price increase.

The V-lock unlocks at 14K and we're near 12,000 already and not all combined orders are included yet, its an almost guarantee that we'll at least get the canon.

I’m going to be real, while I 100% respect him as he is the creator, that would be a very boring tier.

 

I want to like this. I really do. And I'm super happy for everyone who does but... every image of him just seems underwhelming to me. He doesn't seem pleasantly bulky and instead always looks inconveniently chunky and just kinda... awkward.

Could be poor posing/rendering but yeah. Just can't get on board which is disappointing to me.

 

I think he looks fabulous!! I can’t wait to have him in hand.

Actually, it's very similar to the original toy, which was also kind of chunky and awkward. Takara was clearly in the learning stages of doing then-modern super robots and later mastered it with Brave.

Robotmasters Victory Saber will probably forever be the most proportional looking VS we ever get due to it not having to accomplish everything the original did.

Unfortunately, he still looks like he's wearing platform shoes.  

 

That is larger than I expected.
I think I'd pick up a 3rd party sword for this guy. It's nit-picky of me but the size and orientation of the blade bug me. I know you can change the the direction; I'm talking about how it's behind the nosecone not coming out of it. It's by no means a deal breaker but something that, personally, I'd like an alternate option.
