Think about it, is there a recent figure that had chrome where the chrome was very durable? If so, they have improved the chrome.

 

The chrome on Generations Jetfire was very durable.

Now that Victory Saber is gonna get made I’m sure a Third-Party company will make an upgrade kit that gives us a bigger blade for the sword.

That’s cool! Hopefully this will open the door for future smaller crowdfunded toys, aka toys that aren’t Unicron sized. Maybe we could get Commander Lugnut or something big and not easily obtainable via the standard toylines this way. I know there’s demand for DOTM Devcon but I don’t blame Hasbro for killing Devcon for a while. Even if Breakaway and Warpath do super well, who knows how Devcon would do.

 

The chrome they use for the current g1 reissues is also pretty high quality.

 

I know that when I lived with my girlfriend at the time being open lessened what I spent. Kinda hard to justify buying $200 of toys when we had discussed new curtains the week before

I'm going to see if the Dr Wu Prime Star Saber fits in his hands. I wanted to do that to the PX Star Saber but his hands wouldnt hold the blade. Now I sold the figure so I don't have to worry about it

 

I know recent chrome is more durable, and i hate to be "that guy" but after what happened to my poor transmetals i cant bring myself to trust chrome ever again

 

This. My MP Star Saber had light scratches on his chrome chest after one transformation to combined alt mode...before the KFC joints made Star Saber's crotch explode. Yellow or gold paint would be ideal. Not a deal breaker though.

I was just cleaning my g1 Megatron reissue over the weekend and noticed the chrome application on his right should has cracked. I wanted to cry.

 

Oh just the usual naysayers and conspiracy theorist that's all. They make this thread comedy gold for TFW  

 

buy at least 3. you can sell the extras, and it'll cover the entire cost. buy 4 or 5 and you can make a decent profit.

 

Not a fan of how chrome looks in general, but it won't be affecting the three I have ordered.

So anyone can tell how the helmet antennae work? They seem to be bent sideways in robot mode but straight in jet mode... but I see no hinges.
