    If they weren't sure about the marketability of Star Saber proper...what are the odds this would be any more viable?

    Is the face supposed to be part of the brain master? On the mp the brain master looked cleaner as it wasn't carrying a huge face back pack. But it looked just like the show when you close the chest the face came out.

    On this new one do you just flip up the face and then put it in?

    Correct, if you watch some reviews of MP24 you can see the faceplate in the neck of Saber. I think Emgo's review shows a good angle of it. You still got a limited swivel but no up or down, confused Saber looks.

    Ish. The MP is anime accurate where the BM and face appeared to be separate things, whereas this one is toy accurate where the face was directly on the BM

    Toy came before the Anime, so while yes, the MP is anime accurate, the anime in and of itself is inaccurate to the gimmick.

    Okay so let's get this straight, Saber is a retooled CW Aerialbot, Victory Leo is retooled from Sky-Lynx's Lynx half, and of course, the V-Lock Cannon is retooled from Silverbolt.

    Again, the difference here being that Star Saber proper is an all-new mold for Haslab whilst a repaint would be of a fully-funded pre-existing figure at that point.

    Weirder things have happened.

    Star Saber is retooled from the Armada Star Saber mini cons. Don't ask me how I know it, but my uncle who works at Nint-I mean Hasbro's affiliate in Antarctica told me so!
