Well, you know, both being lions and all... There's no way they made more than one lion mold, after all... who'd notice anyway?
I did the over 8000, I can double dip
Looks really good. Just not $180 good.
And legs!! Oh and made from plastic too!
And I'm not sure that you really watched Masterforce. (Either that or you're just being stubborn like the "Saber's not a Gundam!" guys because you can't or don't want to acknowledge the similitude for nerd cred.) Again, it is "similar", as in not exactly the same but having elements in common.
Sentai shows often have the team element with the usual character traits (I mean really, Ginrai could easily double for any Red Ranger), regular humans using a special device to "power up" and face the bad guys, the need to call in and combine with the super mode when the battle gets too tough, a group of bad guys after a somewhat vague mysterious thing or energy for some evil alien force...probably even more comparisons, but the point is Masterforce has all of this.
Again it's not a 1 for 1 comparison, no one is saying that, but the show was the intended decision by the people behind it to borrow more from other popular Japanese genres. Genres like Sentai. And because of that the show is a lot less the usual Transformers show than say Headmasters and something that's a more Japanese take than anything we ever got out of Sunbow.
I'm sure it'll get funded and likely hit the V-lock as well. Not really worried about the stand or the shield personally...just more stuff for the parts boxes
Calling this thing a toy is like calling a $100 throwback 23 Jordan jersey "sportswear". I swear people are so afraid to admit that adult collectors hijacked the action figure industry in the last 5 years. The term "adult collectible" has become such a dirty word on these sites. Its like Shhhhhhhhhh....dont publicly admit only grown ass men buy action figures to display on a shelf ! We gotta keep calling them toys or Hasbros feelings will get hurt !
I feel a bit sorry for those who are attacted to Guys as they are lacking for eye candy on Hasbro Podcasts.
I wonder if Victory Saber will actually make it to the tier for the shield to be made ? Also will the add a 3rd Blast effect (or even some additional small ones for the smaller guns) or exhaust vents if they get more backers - as at the very least I'd have like one for the Big gun too. but more would be nice. But if they are going to add a higher tier (if it looks like it makes it) more Blast effects and the Robotmaster guns, and a couple of additional blade sizes for the sword would also be nice.
Judging by the position the Shield might add stability to the combined jet mode combination.
I'm not too fussed about the brainmasters face. I can dab some silver in there myself easily enough
Does power rangers count?
They will be toys until the day I die.
Because they’re both wonderful people.
Fucking Optimus in the Family Guy dead pose was not what I expected to see this evening.
So do I buy two more to make it three total? Or buy three more yet that would make it four and not really three or-
The colors look cool! I expected the stand to be your basic translucent plastic but it looks really good in blue.
I'm still on the fence about keeping my backing spot, but I hope the color pics convince some more people to get him and his tiers funded.
mmm no putting some pretentious title to it is more of a dispay of shame. It doesn't matter what the age on the box says, a toy is a toy bro. "adult action collectible" just sounds like you're afraid to admit you still like toys as an adult
Theyre toys. I play with toys for fun in my free time, exclusive, expensive, custom or not. They will always be fun toys in my eyes
You're right make it an even 5 total
Well really there are kids who buy toys and display them, too, and adult men who buy toys to just play with them.
definitely fall in the latter. You know, is 22 counts as 'adult men" to you. I have more toys on my desk than out of reach and I fiddle constantly with them
Separate names with a comma.
