It looks wonderful to me. I never got the MP but I am pretty sure I will get this. Still got some time to hit that backer button.

They are both cats? That's literally all I got.

But then many people who think this way still think Mainframe is a Silverbolt retool.

I mildly want the MP on top of this, but I know I'll be spoiled by haslab sabers articulation compared to the MP

    He's looking good in color.

Hope that's not a controversial take.

I feel like the difference really only comes down to semantics in this case.

Well, you know, both being lions and all... There's no way they made more than one lion mold, after all... who'd notice anyway?

And I'm not sure that you really watched Masterforce. (Either that or you're just being stubborn like the "Saber's not a Gundam!" guys because you can't or don't want to acknowledge the similitude for nerd cred.) Again, it is "similar", as in not exactly the same but having elements in common.

Sentai shows often have the team element with the usual character traits (I mean really, Ginrai could easily double for any Red Ranger), regular humans using a special device to "power up" and face the bad guys, the need to call in and combine with the super mode when the battle gets too tough, a group of bad guys after a somewhat vague mysterious thing or energy for some evil alien force...probably even more comparisons, but the point is Masterforce has all of this.

Again it's not a 1 for 1 comparison, no one is saying that, but the show was the intended decision by the people behind it to borrow more from other popular Japanese genres. Genres like Sentai. And because of that the show is a lot less the usual Transformers show than say Headmasters and something that's a more Japanese take than anything we ever got out of Sunbow.

I'm sure it'll get funded and likely hit the V-lock as well. Not really worried about the stand or the shield personally...just more stuff for the parts boxes :p

Calling this thing a toy is like calling a $100 throwback 23 Jordan jersey "sportswear". I swear people are so afraid to admit that adult collectors hijacked the action figure industry in the last 5 years. The term "adult collectible" has become such a dirty word on these sites. Its like Shhhhhhhhhh....dont publicly admit only grown ass men buy action figures to display on a shelf ! We gotta keep calling them toys or Hasbros feelings will get hurt !

I feel a bit sorry for those who are attacted to Guys as they are lacking for eye candy on Hasbro Podcasts.

I wonder if Victory Saber will actually make it to the tier for the shield to be made ? Also will the add a 3rd Blast effect (or even some additional small ones for the smaller guns) or exhaust vents if they get more backers - as at the very least I'd have like one for the Big gun too. but more would be nice. But if they are going to add a higher tier (if it looks like it makes it) more Blast effects and the Robotmaster guns, and a couple of additional blade sizes for the sword would also be nice.

Judging by the position the Shield might add stability to the combined jet mode combination.
