Stand doesn't do anything for me, but on the plus side, VS is looking damn good in those pics!

 

Glad we're actually getting an adjustable stand however kinda dissapointing it doesn't actually raise much off the ground or not at all in the case of the combined robot mode

I like it. I'm not going to be heartbroken if we don't reach that tier but the V is a nice touch.

(weak sauce as in, just not a very exciting looking spiff for a tier unlock, I 100% welcome it's inclusion - it also looks like it's going to have the V Victory logo on it, I think the reception would have been improved with a color render if it's going to be painted)

 

You didn't say that anywhere in your post, though. In fact your post was pretty generic "Hasbro sux 3P will do it" so I'm not sure what the shield has to do with that.

Yes, I did. That's what I meant when I said "They want to improve Third Parties' business". Because they're going to give them the chance to make their own accessories.

 

If the shield was in Star Saber's introduction and used in a memorable battle scene, I would agree with you. The problem is his shield was used once in a random episode for 3 seconds so he could block some missiles and it disappeared again for ever. It is more in line with MP Tigatron coming with that Rubixcube Megatron head or BW Megatron's rifle; a nice little addition but not iconic like Starscream's coronation outfit.

If Victory Saber is a sundae the V-Lock is the hot fudge, the flight stand is the whip cream, and the shield is the cherry on top. The cherry is a nice touch but can easily go without it, at least to me.

 

I wish the stand had an actual jointed arm like a bandai stand, but it's still a pretty cool addition. I'm just glad I won't be biting my nails off in anticipation of tier 2, since that's something I can do without
