I had thought that BBTS, EE and such would purchase an allotment of VS to sell, as they have with other haslabs, but never saw anything go up. I had kind of soft-assumed that when the 2nd QC batch gets released, once those are divvied out, 'extras' would go to fill domestic reseller orders and there MAY be another batch of retail Star Sabers before the end of the year. I have zero confirmation on this of course.

Because it happened with Unicron, and there was believed to be jumps in VS's numbers due to retailer purchases, and it makes more sense than junking the remaining stock?

 

Yes, there were retailer batches pruchased, but I kind of assumed that was to meet their orders placed through them. Also, we already saw the leftovers from those go up. TFsource immediately started selling them at a markup once they started arriving.

The availability on these Haslabs are rather limited. Also, I suspect that the peice tag and size of VS makes him an easier sell than Unicron. He seems to be selling out in places that make him available, and rather quickly at that.

 

Some have gone down the aftermarket route so most probably a No. Some are lucky enough to get close to SRP or even below.
