Has any of you use the packed in decal for Leo's back wing? The proportions look iffy!  Why didn't Hb just paint that patch anyway?

Who am I to say but via just plain none expert human eyes(mine that is), the wing parts look the same. So that being the case, Hb/TT used two types of plastics for Leo's wings? Why not ju............never mind 

 

To be honest I think he looks better with out it.

 

The non-paintable PA/nylon plastic is used whenever there's joints involved. Most load-bearing TF jointing is PA-to-ABS, rather than ABS-on-ABS. It's done this way for less friction wear, as PA is a more durable plastic for that application.

 

Didn't know it was not paintable. Analogous to why part of a certain combiner is this and that. Or why certain parts of gray or white turn yellow etc etc

 

If only there were a mod around to do that…

 

 

But if you clamp down on that, wouldn't that affect the site's traffic algorithm ? Engagement traffic? 

 

Btw, I remember rifling through the thread. One QC issue was the tampoed optics on VL's. I got the same of it a little on the right one. Relax relax, I ain't gonna shriek to high heavens etc etc. as stuff like this happens 

My Goodsmile Gridman Season#1 kit/set (the its so wonky it can't carry its weight even if its life depended on it wonky ). Well, had the same optics issue with the core Gridman figure (misaligned at it's axis). I already did a touch up to fix it (heck, it was waaaaay before I found out my supplier could have had it replaced but opted not to).

I just remembered it after finally getting to handle VS. So aside from the gold chrome blemish on Saber, Leo too has a minute issue with his right optic.

Still loving  this set regardless!

How many of you would like to see Victory Leo has a longer leg? I cannot reveal much but something big is coming to make your Victory Leo looks more appealing.

Regarding the " tampoed optics on VL's", can you share the picture?

 

It honestly never even crossed my mind. Better arms for Saber (not 3D printed), short sword for Saber, gap fillers, better Starsaber shoulders, a clip-on tail would all probably rank higher.

 

This was mostly my experience except I didn't have to submit ANYTHING. I got the email asking for the batch code, box numbers, etc. But before I even took those pics I received an e-mail from Elizabeth asking if I wanted to return it for a refund or replacement. I said replacement so she said when replacements were ready to ship they would send me information on how to return my current one. So I literally never submitted ANY information beyond order #. Weird the other guy is going through so much. Maybe start a new complaint and hope for a different person?

I don't understand Hasbro CS - I reported the two broken red tips of Victory Leo's two guns (with pictures), and they sent me TWO V-lock rifles when the original figure only came with one. Not to mention a brand-new V-Star and Star Saber head. I pointed this out to them, but apparently instead of sending me those two white guns, I have to go through the replacement process "in the upcoming months".

If they just replaced those two guns, I'd be happy.... I hope they don't mind the gold tape I used to fix SS's gold chrome.... (To be fair, SS came out of the box with intact chrome, it just managed to get nicked on both sides just from transforming him to V-Star jet mode. * shrug *)
