Precisely this. Honestly, I helped my contractor dad growing up so I always overestimate my abilities. By this point, I know I could withstand the Punisher torture scene in Daredevil season 2.

But I'll break on the first stubbed toe or Lego block. That crap's real.

Finally really played with mine today... and by played, I mean transformed back and forth, put into various poses. Aside from one minor QC issue (the nosecone's left tab won't tab into tye body of the rest of the jet), I love this thing. It's such a fun toy and there's so much you can do with it. I only wish I had my Deathsaurus right now to face off with him.

So mine came in today and here are my thoughts:

    Pros:
    -Dense plastic, thick paint apps.
    -Very high parts count.
-Brain is a teeny, tiny baby robit.
    -Sizeable in all modes.
-The display stand is *chef's kiss*
-Chrome pieces actually came through unscathed, from what I can tell.

    Cons:
-Paint and chrome overspray everywhere. (Able to scrape it off with a fingernail but it was there in surprising places.)
-The Micromasters, Fire and Holi, are a welcome inclusion but shoddily made. (Legs pop off at the drop of a hat.)
-The instructions seem to leave some things out. (Maybe I missed them because the sheet is so friggin' big but I don't think so.)

    Final thoughts:
A Commander, a Leader, and two Micromasters, hmm... I quite enjoy the set. Do I regret it? No. Do I think this price is perfect for future HasLabs? Yes.

For my first time backing something, I'm more pleased and impressed with it than I am anything else. It was worth my money. I do think the paint blemishes and having to sand the toe on Star Saber as well as the nasal ridge on Victory Leo at this asking price was a bit of an oucher, but I was more than willing to deal with that than trying to get "perfect". Or a broken figure. (No thanks on that one!)

Finished two new bits for victory saber, Got shoulder range extenders, and a pivot for the hilt of the gun to let him have more natural poses.

Pics show it doesnt effect the seams on v star much, and new range in robot mode.
Files for the shoulders are $1aud, and the gun handle is $1.50
I will likely sell all the files for this guy in a discounted set in about a weeks time.
Phisical parts are $3aud for the shoulders, and $5aud for the gun bit, plus $9aud withing aus shipping, or $15aud-30aud(22aud normally) for shipping to USA.
Transformers Victory Saber Gun handle pivot.
    Star saber shoulder range extenders

Honestly as long as the mechanism works, I don’t see why you’d need a replacement.

For what it's worth... I've been thinking that patch of black that the flap surrounds is actually just paint and the white strip that gets revealed after repeated transformations is the bare white plastic underneath. Been guessing that little square of painted plastic might be part of the face mold, so it would explain a lot if that were the case. Don't sweat it too much, really.

Seems like the paint on Victory Leo's forehead got sheared off by the panel that flips out to cover his face. If you look from different angles this really doesn't bother me, but when you look right here it's front and center. For my OCD this really gets under my skin man

Quick question, if I were to buy a HasLab victory saber from someone else (wasn’t around to back it) and run into major QC issues do I have any chance of Hasbro getting back to me for possible part replacement or something? Or will I have to get the person I bought it from to basically be the middle man for that?

If you buy one second-hand, Hasbro has no relationship with you. You’d have to have the original buyer reach out to them.

I used an X-Acto and shaved that part, my panel would not flip down at all, and I didn't want to have a breakage like some of the others I've seen. It's unsightly, I guess, but it's better than broken. Shouldn't have to, though.

They will not, the seller will have to be the middleman and help you with that, if they're actually willing to do so.

This is a lovely and polite response and straight to the point.

This is not. It's the holiday season, be nice.

Finally got around to open Star saber. I am in love with this guy. I only took Star saber out just to check him out. Not the other other figure. Very happy. No problems I can see with my copy.

Recieved mine three days ago and been playing with him constantly. One of sabers feet sticks a little when transforming but I don't foresee any problems. Love the thing, I don't think it would have worked as individual releases.

Mine arrived yesterday! I won't open them until after I move this or next month, but I'm happy to say that the eagle has landed!

I got mine and he’s pretty much perfect except for one of the peg holes was filled in with plastic.

anyone got any tips to correct this so he transforms properly? I tried an x-acto knife and it isn’t working the best.

You're going to need tools better suited to full material removal. A small hand-drill will be a good starter tool to remove large chunks of the plastic, and then you can clean up with a knife after.
