They're here! Haven't had time to take them out of the box yet, but so far the only problem is Victory Leo has some scuffing on the gold foil, but it's the kind that is only visible if you shine a light on it at a very specific angle.

One thing I'd like to make mention of is that one of the perceived "quality" issues is likely intentional.

Some people mention the rough-looking cut-out in front of the spring tab inside Star Saber's torso as "damage". What I'm actually thinking is that, because of variable tolerances/play in the parts, it was found that the little molded arrow on the spring tab wasn't always clearing the lip of the blue piece, preventing it from depressing all the way, and getting Saber stuck as a result. So they probably carved that chunk of plastic out manually as the solution.

I did good QC-wise, just a tiny little chip on the chrome on Star Saber's chest that's only noticeable up close.

Call your local fedex ground or express (whichever is delivering to you) and go do an in-person pickup?

Gretchen, stop trying to make Fetch happen. It's not going to happen.

Think this has happened to a few of us. I wouldn't stress about it too much (apart from you know... This being an expensive Haslab) I've had no issues still using the blade in the cartoon orientation.

I've not figured out how to get the blade in toy configuration without it being bent, but it works fine and holds well if not forced all the way down like you do for the cartoon look. Not sure if that's how it's meant to be?

I ended up shaving off the nub that was left and cleaning it up for symmetry sakes.

I'm honestly kinda nervous every time I pick this thing up. Don't get me wrong, I love it and I think it's awesome.

At the same time though, I *reeeaaallly* don't want to risk breaking it.

I want to play with it, but jfc I don't know that I could replace it should something stupid happen.

I already have small stress marks on the faceplate hinge and underside of the right foot.

Also, Saber's (small form) waist won't turn. Not that bothersome, tbh.

I’m probably gonna hate opening up a potential thing here, but wth is “Fetch”…?

Confirmed my set has no major issues whatsoever. This thing is a blast to mess around with. Straightforward to transform and solid. I’m very happy with it. Bring on Deathsaurus!

It’s a Mean Girls (movie) reference. One of the characters keeps trying to coin the term “fetch,” which basically just means something cool or awesome. And her friend tells her to quit because it’s never going to happen.

Saber does have a waist swivel, you just need to unclip his waist in order to unlock it.

Just to note, it's just a contraction of "fetching", meaning cute/attractive, which is a semi-outdated adjective (every time I've heard that word in that context, it's usually in a medieval or Victorian European setting, usually in regards to a girl's dress or appearance: "She looks so fetching in..."). So it's not even a fully made-up bit of slang, just a 90s/early 2000s valley girl repurposing of an older word.

Saber has an ab crunch joint (required for his transformation into the Star Saber torso mode, to compensate for his short thighs). Swung fully back, it locks in place for his jet mode, locking both it, and the waist swivel in place. Swing the hips forward to disengage the lock, enabling both joints for posing.

I'm noticing some stress marks on star saber's helmet near where the hinges for his faceplate connect. Anybody else notice that?

I'm really liking this set! While I don't have much of an attachment to Victory, having these awesome designs in hand makes me want to check out the show!

I've messed with SS a little so far (mostly with little Saber). I think I may have lucked out but I'm not the most keen on certain issues admittedly. His wrists are a bit tight but that's about it.
This thing definitely feels like it'd be an MP if it upscaled and had less 5mm holes in it. It's quite a piece

Nothing wrong with my set. Chest chrome on Star Saber looks fine. Just a bit of marring on Victory Leo. Not bad. Love this set. Can't wait for the weekend to take more pics!

Show us pictures would definitely help.

Can you be more tender when putting Saber into V star to avoid this scratches and chips problem?
