Kids? What are those?

Seriously though, very cool of you to let your kids mess with it. How old are they? I'm surprised they like the MicroMasters more considering how easily they fall apart. At least mine does.

 

I'm thinking of hitting my Saber's chrome with a clear coat. Just for added protection.

 

A long time ago I did that on my mp-30 Ratchet chrome parts, it helps but somehow the chrome became slightly dull.

Edit: fyi I used Mr hobby gloss top coat

 

Yeah top coats make chrome loose their reflectiveness


Also did anyone find a picture frame that's the right size for the cardboard poster?

 

Got mine over lunchtime and only had a few minutes to mess with it. It looks amazing and the feel is great too. I love the little tricks like how those side chest panels plug into Saber's legs or how Star Saber's side-skirts and thighs move to produce tabs to make the V-Star rock solid. It definitely makes me even more excited for Deathsaurus now too.

10 & 6. The 10 year old was using the base as scaffolding for the micromasters to work on Star Saber, & the 6 year was having them get blasted by Victory Leo ("Gun Tiger"). 2 very different children.

The leg immediately popped off Fire when one of them was trying to transform him, but I popped it back on and they went back to playing.

My experience is kids love little transformers to fiddle with, which is why I find it a bit of a disappointment that they didn't do more with micromasters. Core class definitely is a nice replacement though.

Got mine delivered this afternoon…I only had time to get SS and VL out of the package and do a quick inspection before I had to get back to work and it looks like I lucked out with overall QC, joints weren’t too loose or too tight, vac metal seemed to be good, and I didn’t see any major paint issues. I’ll look closer at the paint when I get home from work, but to be honest the small paint overspray and little smudges I’ve seen reported aren’t going to bother me in the least.

Only thing I’m really still concerned about is the lack of nosecone peg hole, and I just didn’t have time to inspect it so I’ll have to do it after work. I can’t wait to get home and fiddle around with it.

 

Both of my Sabers got updated to arriving tomorrow instead of today, but at least the tracking finally shows they're in the state so nice to know it's actually happening.

Ugh! Now we have the official news page calling it a tier. It's not a tier! (This would mean something intended to incentivize more backers, which is assuredly NOT the case here) It's a bonus. A "thank you" present. But it's after the campaign ended. It's not a tier!

It’s because words mean nothing these days. We should just go ahead and make CHPS and Fetch a thing while we’re at it. And instead of crowdfunding, we’ll just go with Super Exclusive Preorders now.

 

So, got mine and everything is good except for the left knee ratchet wont stay in place - it clicks when you straighten the keg, but if you life the leg, the knee joint just flops down. Not sure if there is a fix Went ahead and emailed customer service at Hasbro Pulse - hope to hear back soon.

 

They really do. It’s why I had to double up on my headmasters since they keep losing the dang heads.

 

Uuuuggghhh! FedEx tried to deliver today but since no one was home at the time they left. Tried to reschedule for sometime when I would be home but apparently you can only do that if you’re part of their “Delivery Manager” program, and the only way to join that is through an activation code they choose to send by snail mail (I requested a code last Friday, still nothing) instead of by text or email, which are options they claim to have available, but when I chose to get a new activation code, the only option that appeared was by mail…

Sorry, I had to vent.

 

I have a funny feeling that I have a ways before I'll be getting mine. Fedex says that it's expected to be delivered Friday but my last update was the 10th saying it arrived at the Chino facility. Not departed, arrived.
