Star Saber looks great. The more effect parts the better he looks. Dai Atlas is looking a little small but they still look good together & I can just hear the theme tune while messing with him.

My MP-24 & KFC Simba has taken an absolute beating over the years. Missing the cannons, a broken wing & the pieces to cover the feet are gone as well as a bent antenna. But I must say the Haslab VS is kind of making up for it. Handles VL's arms in VS much better than the 2 MP's.

 

Love that last picture. In an alternate universe where Victory got shelved before release, Brave of the Spark Star Saber would have walked so Exkaiser and everyone else could run.

His coloring also seems to imply his final form but also the whole star ship tractor trailer....he's a red ship pulling a big ship trailer....like a tractor trailer in space. I dont know, just always seemed very optimus prime-like to me.

 

I’ve always thought he evokes that Optimus Prime vibe for sure!!!!
Same color pallet, same type of head, same “combine with your trailer” gimmick, similar demeanors in personality…

That said, I felt it was pretty clear he’s another Autobot who had risen through the ranks to Supreme Commander through his own valor, skill, and hard work.
I believe the anime shows his battle with Deathsaurus at the Dark Fortress was some eons before, and their rivalry (as well as Deathsaurus’s vendetta against Star Saber) is very old.

A successor to Optimus Prime? No doubt.
The final form of the man himself? Nah, but they’d be contemporaries for sure!

Are Victory Leo's wings removable while leaving the rest of the robot intact? I swear a while back I saw a photo of ER Optimus wearing the wings on his back without any other Victory Leo kibble, but in PVP's review he could only do that with Victory Leo's arms still attached to the wings.

 

Going by that logic then Ultra Magnus is also Optimus and not his own separate character. Or Smokescreen on a smaller scale. Red, white/gray, and blue color scheme is fairly standard fair on many characters.

However I will give credit on the “trailer” line of thought. A bit thin given other characters have had tagalong parts like that. But reasonable
