I misinterpreted the picture and thought Bayverse Prime removed his helmet to reveal Gudetama. That would have explained a lot.

Why...?

 

Here is a rough translation. Some words do not have a direct translation into english, they have to be understood in context. The context here is the character Gudetama, which is an egg who is always portrayed being lazy and basically not wanting to do anything (as when you don't feel like going out of bed). Obviously the idea for his personality comes from the oozy physical state of the yolk and white out of the egg. His phrases are meant to be said with no emotion and stretching all words (out of lack of a passion to even say a single word).
The comedic effect here is to portray the Transformers (action characters) with Gudetama's usual attitude. Like Bumblebee stopping in mid-transformation just to say how bothered he is to be doing that.

[Optimus]
- Opt: My name is Optim... I'm tired
- Gude: I'll give my best from... next summer

[Bumblebee]
- Bumb: Transform!... do I have to do this now?
- Gude: Yeah... right?

[Megatron]
- Meg: Meh, I guess I have to destroy everything
- Gude: For real?

 

Those things are cute, because they look like little loafs of bread with arms and faces which is how you make things instantly cute, but... what's with their expressions?

They kinda look like critters you'd see in Rick and Morty.

 

Ha! My wife got a kick out of this weird collab.   She loves cute oddball Japanese mascots like Gudetama, Mameshiba, and Funassyi.

Gudetama's thing is that he's the world's laziest egg. Stricken with malaise, he just can't be bothered to do most anything.

 

So far, all I see is a Tf with some other toys on it.  Is this just a cutom didplay by a fan or a teaser for actual crossover merchandise?  

 

I absolutely love that pose Megatron's in.
