I swear if Wave 3 turns out to arrive on time and be readily available before Wave 2 is even sorted out... Well I'm not sure what I'll feel but it probably won't be good.

 

Uggghhhhh....my order that had 3 Alicons in it came in with only one Alicon in the box.... 

There's no more there, so no idea if I'll be able to get my order fulfilled...

Ok ...Alicon....for the most part he's good, but a couple of things keep him from being great to me, and it's not his lack of transformation accuracy. His bot mode hands really should have been able to fold into his forearm so his hands wouldn't just be...there in gator mode, and I also still think those gator arms would've been better placed onto his bot mode shoulders with a ball joint, so they could not only be positioned behind his bot mode arms in bot mode, but they would've been better placed in gator mode as well.

I'm still hoping some 3rd party group makes an upgrade kit with bot mode arms that can be replced at his bicep, that have fold in hands as well as new gator arms that can be plugged into his shoulders. Other than those two things, he's a good first attempt for an official Alicon.

 

Yeah, I already have 2 ready to pick up. The store I ordered from may have a few extras, but they won't promise. Plus I know of one online store that has some in stock. But I'm pondering over if I should get 2 or 3 from them. Not only because this store is known for having slow shipping for Canada, but right now I'm being careful with how much I spend right now.

personality wise “Runaway” would be a coward.

Runaround would be the most clever being good at getting “around” obstacles.

Runalot would be the most aggressive or physical able to keep going ‘a lot’ more then the others.

Runabunch would have ‘a bunch’ of split personalities and they’re constantly fighting over the driver’s seat.

I would totally buy a bunch of original Battlechargers if Selects made them. Give the Cons their rank and file ground troops to go with the Seekers.

 

I was afraid of this. With such a delay between wave 1 and 2, and the fact that they already have Kingdom wave 1 in the pipeline, Hasbro is probably going to rush ER waves 2 and 3 out in such limited quantities, that it's going to be nearly impossible to find them. I have mine pre-ordered, but it's not like that is any guarantee.

 

I'm getting worried about how Thrust & Runabout are going to be released. The last they need is to be some sort of Black Friday exclusive. Almost wish they were Amazon exclusives, just to avoid going out on Black Friday (if of course they are Black Friday exclusives).

 

Time Warp Toys in south St. Louis just got the Wave 2 Deluxes in. I picked up Allicon yesterday; they still had an Arcee and an Airwave.

Bot arms kinda lock behind him in "beast" mode and aren't bad unless you're looking for them. Do think simply adding a step to conceal the fists would have helped.

 

There are blue and yellow generic Battlechargers in the Devastation game, called "Ground Soldier".

There are also some common generic seekers (Air Warriors) in the G1 cartoon, generic cassettes, and going back to Devastation, generic coneheads and a Rumble colored Blitzwing as a troop builder.

 

a more obscure reference, Runaway could just really be into 'Flock of Seagulls'.

another possibility for Runaround, he could be a moocher and con artist, constantly giving people 'the runaround'.
