Red? I have to recheck him again. Our normal eyes can't/wouldn't have noticed that. Heck, I didn't realize that Airwave too had painted optics. Thanks for the heads up.:thumb

At least that's what I've heard. But yeah, blue'd be better.

Fun fact: Dead Optimus as a repaint started off as a joke from John Warden, but then the team liked it so much it became a real thing!

Where the hell do these things get to? I mean, Hasbro manufactures this stuff in the tens or even hundreds of thousands - why the hell is any of it hard to get? Is there just this damned dump truck that backs up to the factory, loads 90% of the inventory, and then takes the lot straight to a friggin' landfill somewhere?

In the UK we've had a pretty good run at being able to obtain exclusives in recent years via either import or the specialist stores here. I don't think any exclusive during Prime Wars was particularly troublesome to obtain.

Last year it got very "be in the right place at the right time" for certain items. None of last years Target exclusives (Rainmakers, Micromasters) have ever been offered online by the specialist stores here and Robotkingdom, one of the few overseas stores to offer them, sold out pretty quick.

I'm told - I wasn't there so forgive me if the details are wrong - that one of the Dealers at TFNation had stock of both: 3 jet sets which went before the dealer room opened it's door and a larger pile of Micromaster sets that didn't last the morning.

The idea of a perfect date between these two lovebirds in arms, beating up Starscream(I'll get Lunaclub later to back him up   !) :lolol  20200920_211217.jpg

    Ironhide: Ladies first Ma'am!

Chromia: My.......you sure are a Gentlebot........

    Starcream: Hey! What'd I do?

Ironhide: Ya either shaddup or I'm gonna call Lunaclub on ya...........

But... G1 Hubcap didn’t have blue eyes either. He’s accurate.

I'm guessing they want consistency in Autobots having blue eyes and Decepticons having red eyes, and I get that. I rather like some variety (as well as toy accuracy when done right), though, so Hubcap's red eyes are good with me.

Honestly the thing that bothers me is that they don't stand out from his face. If his eyes were yellow, or his face was silver or blue or something then that'd be fine(ish).

Not sure that I like Hasbro's response to the most vocal complaints about parts forming on their figures.

Hopefully they'll be able to get me a replacement piece.

Even the cartoon (who started the blue/red thing) didn’t always do it. Shockwave, Thrust, Swindle, Metroplex, Hot Spot and I’m sure others all have different colored eyes in the cartoon. But yeah, I like eye variety too. #YellowEyedSoundwave :lol

Yeah, I get that too, but honestly some bots having their eyes/visor blend in with their face color is interesting to me too. Toy Scattershot, for example.
