You loling at me
Yup. It's the same as when people complained about the repaints/retools during Prime Wars. The alternative wasn't new molds...it was repacks/nothing.
And, to be honest, as we head into Kingdom I'm far more excited/curious about the possible exclusives. I loved the show, and when I got older I bought all of the 90s stuff. So I don't "need" the figures because the originals were pretty solid save for a few known issues (*glares at TM Megatron*). I'll absolutely bite on the combiners if they get updates and probably snag accurate versions of Dinobot/Airrazor if they are made, but beyond that I'm really excited to see Hasbro and Takara have some fun with the possibilities.
Like, had this been during Prime Wars I'd be hyped for the opportunity that we'd get a bunch of beast modes for G1 guys. Sure, we can honor the originals, but I'd love to see them take the opportunity to expand on it to.
Notice the shoulder pilons, wrist wings, and squared off legs
Transformers Generations: War for Cybertron Earthrise
The shoulders aren't symmetrical tho and since when is Snapdragon as large as a titan. I personally think it's the Ark.
OH MAH GERD IT'S THE TITAN ARK!
(Or Tidal Wave)
That's clearly not Snapdragon all right. He has more normal proportions while this is obviously the other way around. I'm guessing that this is actually the Ark after all or at least the Ark's companion.
It's Tidal Wave, the forearm is a nigh match and the torso is sectioned the same way. Before anyone goes on about the other side it's being obscured and distorted for the sake of art.
Post updated with more and better images.
Definitely not Snapdragon, and doesn't look like Tidal Wave either...
Is that a shield on their forearm?
EDIT: @Seth Sunthay has pointed out that it's likely just Airwave.
I can't see that being Tidal Wave because he was never that lanky. If anything that looks like the Ark from the different ship placements on the design fitting the Ark's Bill.
Oh boy, if you look closely at Trailbreaker, he is mostly midnight green colored plastic. This is the same plastic used on figures released in the Titans Return line, one example is the laser guns given to Titans Return leader Class Powermaster Optimus Prime, just hold them next to something made of solid black plastic, such as a remote control, laptop, or DVD player and the Transformers plastic has a green tint to it. It is not entirely as blask as the parts of Trailbreaker that are black paint. At least it is not as noticable as comparing the yellow plastic and paint on Sunstreaker.
I can't believe how much detail you were able to bring out.
Doesnt look ANYTHING like tidal wave! deffo not Bruticus as hes lacking the back cannons and the long head antennas. I have no clue.
Looks like one of those modulators to me
Perhaps the bloke on the side of Fasttrack’s box will be a modernised take on this concept:
I mean, probably not, but it would be cool!
