kingdom is still gonna have G1 figures. It’s a crossover pretty much with Beast wars. Rumors are inferno(G1) is in wave one. It’s very possible he was in wave four. Would make sense. If Grapple is made inferno is inevitable but this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. universe had Inferno and grapple was in Reveal the should a year later

I get the feeling Inferno was going to be in wave 3 along with Megatron. Voyager wave 2 "lost" a figure since apparently Quintesson or Megs was initially planned to go with Snapdragon, but instead Snap wound up being the only "new" figure in his wave. The last time we had an early voyager wave with only one new figure was probably Combiner Wars, when it made sense to focus on getting complete teams available on store shelves and not waste time on distractions. Plus the ER voyager waves are all villains after wave 1 and Inferno would break that a little. But maybe they are trying to fix the peg breaking issue on the Grapple mold and that delayed Inferno. I can see Thrust having been intended as the last main line voyager. Or it could have been Soundwave but the new heads on Laserbeak and Ravage obviously have been designed for a while and micromaster two-packs are ending so they need a spot somewhere. Maybe they wanted to expand Netflix's concept of "voyagers with buddies" beyond just Walmart.

With deluxes, it is hard to say. I think Runabout was always intended as some sort of exclusive since he is the mold buddy of Runamuck who is in the third wave, and remolds/repaints usually aren't in the very next wave but ER probably wouldn't get a fifth wave anyhow. Walmart getting Bumblebee and Soundwave as (apparent) exclusives in the U.S. has to be a burn for Target since they are major characters making their only appearance in this line (counting Netflix line as a spill over line).

Why so

 

Remolds and repaints are in following waves sometimes back to back. That’s why the arialbots and stunt icons were split up back in combined wars.

repaints and trolls however are never in the same wave though

because that’s what they’ve been doing now since the start of WFC. Getting as close as possible to capture the cartoon look.

I'm trying to follow the conversation, but I think I missed a post somewhere. Do we have confirmation that Transformers earthrise is a shortened line now?

 

In Demand stated that Wave 4 is gone and Kingdom is starting in December. Apollux said wave 4 was never gonna happen and this was always the plan, with wave 4 on the map I guess being exclusives?

Like Starscream from potp that inferno is a bit of an exception but I agree

 

I'm fine with them not doing all of the Seekers in PotP, but Inferno/Grapple would have at least been a slightly different take on the alt mode.
