I was just thinking about that as well. Honestly, I don't see them releasing Prime with all those strange color choices. Blue biceps, like, wtf? Grapple's eyes are completely unpainted in those images as well. These can't be final.

 

I kinda don't hate the blue upper arms? Gray is still best, but ANYTHING is better than the red ones on Siegimus.

 

I don't think we really know what these figures look like yet. Wait for box pics.

I don't think I'll be buying this until it's reissued in a set or as an exclusive with correct coloring. The mental gymnastics some are going through to justify the mistakes is crazy. Nobody would buy a Superman with red hair or a Batman with a light grey cowl or a Wonder Woman with blue boots.

 

Cool, now where are more Wheeljack pics!? These definitely aren\'t final like the recent in-hand Prime pics and the others of Grapple with a silver face. The white probably looks better though, the details don\'t get lost as easily unless they tone down the silver. Hoist still looks really good. 

 

I just want to know what colour his arms and biceps will be now. One version is perfect, the other is atrocious.

 

Okay I get what your saying, I don’t think it’s necessarily needed, but I get it. I personally would rather have them focus R&D on the trailer or improving the hip range of motion than a new head sculpt.

 

I say 99% chance we do get a TC and SW from this mold. Simply because they can just toss some different paint on it and put it in a generic brown box and sell it. It is a easy buck, hastak won't pass on.
Not saying they should or not but it is that easy and people buy it.

 

these are obviously just various test shots, sent out to use for photography, hence the changes with the trailer hitch, which seems to be a recent change. ive gotta say though, im really looking forward to the figure, and going by how worried people are about parts being miscoloured, im guessing a fair few other people are aswell XD

 

Most definitely. Starscream, bumblebee and Prime arethat distinct. Every line and size class exists for these figures. Though I get a bit tired of it. I love seekers got the 3pack,and both exclusives. Got leader Starscream TC and SW, got the first movie versions. And g1 reissue.
But it is a bit too much now. We just got the voy Potp, voy Siege and now Voy Earth rise?
For the robot mode don't need it. Got siege. As for jet mode... What beats the G1? Honestly.
So I think I'll pass this one.

Well, there are three unique toolings, one needed for each conehead. Those will probably need secondary uses to justify the cost, maybe the Devastation Army Builders or obscure coneheads like the Autobot conehead in S3 or an Armada Thrust nod.

I just don’t see there being enough slots to go too crazy with Starscream’s tooling.

We’re looking at 4 unique toolings just between Starscream and the coneheads. 1 redeco each and you’re at 8, one more than Siege.

If we get Thundercracker and Skywarp, that’s two more slots. That’s sacrificing a lot just doing the basic 6 with likely a limit of 7-8 total.

 

Same especially with the blue painted eyes he had in the nycc diorama.
