Elite-1 nagged so much in the show I wouldn\'t ever purchase this figure.

 

At the very least, we'll get Bumblebee... who will be carried across the country by a guy that was blind the whole time!

 

Its about the principle, for gods sake we're paying $20+ for this we should get a very high quality product not some hollow partsformer
Sideswipe and spinister are great examples of stuff thats worth $20, they felt great inhand and the hollow parts made sense because thats where some of the parts went to in the alt mode plus theres no partsforming

 

I see no issue with people having expectations as to how good a figure should look. At $40, the back of the van could look significantly better. With the way the legs transform, I see no reason as to why the couldn’t have put the feet on an up and down hinge so they could fold up inside the van.

It’s not really a deal breaker. I’ll probably suck it up and get it, only because I don’t have a dedicated Ironhide or Prowl in my collection, but it’s still unfortunate.

 

Does hasbro make anything good enough for most of you?

 

I am definitely factoring in that Earthrise ironhide is retooled from siege. I feel that had they gone for a clean, new earth ironhide mold it would have come out better. Again, I am mostly getting it for vehicle mode, and while it's very disappointing, I think a toyhax set will go a long way to helping it.

On the fence about Elita 1. Don't really have a problem with the POTP version
And Ironhide really needs to lay of the beer, or go with lite..

 

...................Yeah. This view here makes it even easier to skip him and his set with no regrets.

Well that just proves my point doesn't it? At the rate things are going, the TF line in ten years will be "look, I made an Optimus Prime out of my fecal matter and a few stray twigs!"

Pretty disappointed with Elita to be honest. I get that it's much easier to do a minor retool than a whole new figure but she is really small compared to the show and especially compared to Optimus. For a seemingly very important character it would have been nice to get a larger deluxe or even a small voyager. I also wish a lot of her body wasn't made up of that weird tan color and her eyes were blue like in the show.

 

At least we didn't have to wait for the third installment in the WFC trilogy to get an Elita-1 figure.

 

That's certainly an opinion. At least this one has an alt-mode outside "block with a windshield". Especially since they both share the exact same feet hanging out of the ass-end. I can't wait to replace Siege with this.

She's better in hand imo but yeah, still far off from looking slim, clean, and not so toyish.

 

There was one replacement kit for Siege Ironhide's feet, that made them much better in vehicle mode. The DSA kit. Unfortunately DSA stopped making kits.
And the way the roof has a bit that sticks down between the rear and the feet makes it so the DSA kit won't work with ER Ironhide.
