No love for Smokescreen?  

 

I for one prefer this new Megatron over the Siege one.

 

Anyone else considering switching around the Alicons shoulder pieces so that the screw shows in Anthropomorphic Alligator mode instead of Robot mode?

Megatron would be a must buy if not for that head. It's complete trash IMO. The Siege head was so much better.

 

At this point, I'd even opt for an upscaled Legends gun Megatron from Reveal The Shield. Honestly kind of surprised it never happened with a third company.

 

I\'ve had the occasional bad eyeliner day too, so I can certainly relate to this version of Megatron. 

 

Oh dear.  I don\'t know how I feel about megatron\'s cannon sword in this earth remold. This deserved a new mold entirely. Maybe based on the green deluxe mold from a decade ago? I hope this looks good in person: And it ususally does.  So I shouldnt Judge this \"innocent\" yet. 

 

I think I'll just pick up the RED Megatron and be done with it.

 

I gotta thank ER for saving me money, I\'m only getting an Airwave, so I can catch up on other lines. 

 

I prefer ER Megatron's torso and legs, but that weapon... is so bad. Why didn't they just give him new shoulders that more resemble the front-end of a tank, then give us simply the cannon part of the sword from Siege to plug into it?

The head doesn't look as bad here, so I'll at least get the inevitable G2 repaint.

 

The parts-forming on Megatron is really disappointing. The front section of the turret could have been incorporated into his bot mode shoulders, and the black slab that fills out the back end (which is an addition from Siege version) could have split in half and folded onto his calves. It wouldn’t be impossible for the turret to hinge onto the rotating panel that his arms swing onto, so it becomes the classic gun barrel on his back in bot mode. Instead it’s fudged together into a ugly weapon-chunk.

 

And that would have cost more than they could afford while keeping the figure under $30.

Dear 3rd party companies...please PLEASE PLEASE make a set of posable Alicon arms that can plug into the bot mode arms so he can look better in gator mode.

 

So Airwave does have little double eyes in his head. Wasn\'t sure if the big circle was his eye or not. I wonder if Hothouse will have the single eye?

 

That Megatron is underwhelming. Imma stick with the concept that Megatron refuses to use an Earth mode.

 

Yeah, I\'m gonna get only Airwave when they show up in the US. I know Megatron will be a shelfwarmer given that the Siege one already is along with the Seekers.

 

That Airwave is destined to hold a special place of honor in the Headsculpt thread.

 

If Hasbro releases an ER version using the same silver color they used for the Netflix Megatron figure, then I would make it a must buy.

 

This. THIS. For the love of God, this! How is it that impossible for Hasbro to make a transforming G1 tank-style Megatron where you get the shoulder cannon right?
