Anyone else order Rotorstorm from pulse and the payment status says "pending"? Makes me wonder if the November release is an exaggeration... or maybe they got a certain amount in now...

 

They reworked their system and "Pending" now means authorized and the former authorized phase is gone. I chatted with them about this about a week or two ago

 

Crossguard would be a great name for an Autobot Doublecrosser redeco!

 

It's likely in part because you can't really do a line of G1 accurate toys that also squeeze in to new factions. Impactor, for example, was both a Con and Autobot...but served more as a Merc in the Siege show.

I would assume, if he came out today, Punch/Counterpunch would also be a Merc. Maybe Drift/Deadlock if they wanted to revisit him. It's like how the Quintessons are all part of a faction, but none of them actually wear the faction logo on the toy because it wouldn't be "accurate" and it's also because the faction is less a faction and more just a banner under which they all travel.

I read them, but it was in one ear out the other. Like, it didn't matter to me that BW Inferno's firepower was X but his intelligence was Y....I just played with them and they did what I needed them to do. It was a thing, now it's not, and I really don't care either way.

Yay more roads! I know it's cool for a city to have lots of parts turn into little guys, but I'd like to just buy a road/ramp pack.

 

How long before the ramp people will have their translucent plastic crack?

 

So far, just Soundbarrier has a known issue with weak hip ball joints and inexcusable hip kibble causing clearance problems...which then cause the ball joints to break off. Avoid the splits or bending at the hips. Some people have modded the hips already by sanding off the kibble.

I did something more in depth to fix the broken ball joint and it won't break off again regardless of leg movement (drilled in and placed a new reinforcing pin that goes through both hip ball joints and used epoxy to hold everything together and fill in gap from drilling).


The ramp itself is fine has been fine for us, even after removing it from Soundbarrier and placing various stresses on it.

 

Yeah, If not for @Jtprime17 dropping the knowledge I'd have been hoping it was an Autobot Recolour with the wrong Render used!

Doublecrosser looks awesome. And that case of all ramps available at EE is definitely going on the preorder list. Can't get enough rampbots.

 

I have created a list of potential Weaponizers/Modulators that they could create. They are Slammer, Metroshot, Metrotank, Cog (Masterforce), and Gadep. Other potential decos include the Transformers Jr. Colors for Trypticon.

ER Megatron still seems borderline to me. If he had the toy show hand painted proto deco, I would buy instantly. Wondering if he'll get another Netflix refresh.

The only reason why I\'m not getting Megatron is because of that ugly head scuplt. If he had a different head, I would get it, but for now, I think I\'ll stick with my siege Megatron.

 

I know he's janky and has issues, but there's still something charming about Allicon too me, I'm down for 2-3 if I ever find them on sale

Airwave is delightfully derpy in robot mode and all the different configurations look cool.

Megatron still looks worse then Siege in every conceivable way. the alt mode I suppose is marginally better, but not much. the helmet and face and abs are just all so bad and clunky looking. best thing about him is probably the D16 on the side, but you'd think they could at least use a stencil/militaryesque font.

 

That Megatron continues to be a complete disappointment. Now would be an excellent time for Takara to announce a Gen Selects gun Megatron, I think we're due for one at mainline scale.
