Gotta say, it really pisses me off how some of these car modes have mirrors, and some don't.
Especially since we're in "EARTHRISE" now, and not on Cybertron, all of these guys should have mirrors of some kind.

It would have been so easy too, just add little triangles to either his chest/windshield or calves, honestly can't figure out why they left them off.

 

At the same time they have to care about breakage issues and part count

The inner arms are orange and the outer arms are red

There’s a danger logo on the lower right feet

Thighs, sides of torso and head are blue

Finally, he doesn’t have the CV hot rod syndrome where he looks like a mess of red plastic that hurts to look

Still wish this guy had matching yellows and paint on his shoulders at the very least...

His transformation seems simple relatively, the rear hood slides under the windscreen, and reveals the fake chest underneath. The feet seem to slide out similar to Wheeljack's, just not sideways but upwards.

How have you seen it? Please show some photos. As is the (un)written law of the internet, "pics or it didn't happen".  

Production photos of Hoist were the same mismatched colors, but the final product was fine.

Ah OK! I assumed IDW was getting weird again.   No harm done!

There has been a weird repaint slew of the G1 Minibots by Takara that repurposed them as Gobots. Despite how Deluxe Gobots Bug Bite is yellow like Bumblebee, they repainted G1 Bee in white and made him a Con to make Bugbite. There was later some Botcon or TFCC toy too that repainted the Classics Bee white.
But honestly... I am pretty annoyed at this. What weird topsy-turvy world is it where Bumblebee, a major remold of Cliffjumper who is a much wanted character, is coming out as some super hard to get Walmart exclusive (hard to get even for those in the USA, downright impossible for those outside it - I had to preorder from HLJ which comes out next year)... and Bugbite, who is pretty much an unknown nobody, will be available to everyone on Hasbropulse and webshops?
Just wish Netflix line consisted of these battle damaged repaints, and the remolds would have come out as Earthrise Wave 4 or 5. Really baffling. Maybe the whole COVID thing and the delays in manufacture and shipping caused delays so Wave 4 was cancelled, and they are distributing the planned molds everywhere?

Since we did get Chase, as a Scout/Legends, would prefer them to be all that scale. Hasbro can also release more of those than Deluxes per year. Mind you, Wideload (and maybe Rollbar) would likely need to be new molds.
I am confident we are getting Sureshot down the line - Siege Mirage transforms EXACTLY like G1 Sureshot, the torso at least does. It's a retool that has to happen. I would have killed for proper Firecons, Sparkabots, Triggerbots/Cons, Ultra/Mega Pretenders like Roadblock and Skyhammer and Thunderwing and Crossblades... But nope, instead we are getting Beast Wars... despite it just being a 15th anniversary. I don't remember them doing this much of a hubbub for the 10th. They could have waited for the 20th which is a nice round number

 

Looking forward to seeing Hot House if pics are starting to circulate, love me some mini bases.

Next year is Beast War's 25th anniversary. It started in 1996. For the 10th, they re released some of the original moulds in better paint schemes, with a dvd and a transmutate build a figure.

He looks very shiny.

 

Ironically the BB situation is the reverse in oz

Bumblebee should be easy to find since once wave 1 were released here (like a month and a half ago) they were easy to find

Bug Bite'll be harder to get though since Pulse doesn't ship here

 

Sunstreaker needs an actual gun. I'm not a fan of them trying to turn his super-charger into a weapon.

 

Phew it looks like it was the shadowing in the last photos that made it look like his douche-y soul patch was off-centre. He'll do for me!
