Just realised Arcees hoverboard is mistransformed yet again. The wheel panels are meant to be splayed out so it sits flat and doesnt look quite so much like the back end of the car.

 

Hopefully this means Wave 2 is coming soon.

 

Soooo...she's an action figure...enclosed in a car shell? Aside from her backpack kibble, nothing about her main body seems to be coming from her alt-mode. Maybe they should call her car mode her Pretender shell! LOL

At least with the T-30 Arcee, their seemed to be more integration...without the need to create a separate accessory in a "hover board". With this, it feels like once you remove the backpack all you have is a GI Joe figure.

 

Good grief I didn't think her backpack would be THAT big. Sure you have the option to take it off for a cleaner look but all the same I was hoping they'd find a way to make it more compact! Her T30 figure wasn't this backpack heavy.

 

Well I do like Arcee hereself, but the backback and the car mode are meh tbh. First of all the car is a bit too fat on the back and second of all they should have made the torso from the front of the car and the interior(?) and if they made the back of the car slimmer it would have looked much better as a hoverboard. I hope some 3rd party company makes an upgrade kit that could fix some of these stuff. Otherwise I like this Arcee.

 

Could be just a funny angle, and I'm not sure how they pulled it off but looks like she DOES have ankle tilts?

 

She does, one of the images you can see the ankle tilt from the side while she is crouched down

 

Right? If you're gonna do "dead Optimus" don't skimp.

 

Wow Arcee looks so bad. They got super lazy with her that's for sure lmao. But at least TLK deluxe Barricade doesn't have the worst backpack ever anymore.

I'm going to hate having her on my shelf, but gotta support those fembots so maybe someday they'll actually start making some good ones in the mainline.

The toyfair model didnt look this bad, how could it have gone so down hill.

To each, their own. If this Arcee floats your boat, awesome. To me, I'll not be replacing my Thrilling 30 version. She's about as current generation perfect as you can get from official sources, in my book.

This seems like they spun a board and threw darts at it to see what design they'd go with and this was the bullseye.

 

So glad I have the Thrilling 30 version of Arcee, this thing is just obtuse. I'd wager to say one of the worst Transformers designs ever made, mostly because there doesn't seem to be a transformation.

 

Can't wait to have him on my shelves.
