Airwave is great. Hopefully we will get a Hot House and Greasepit before long too.

 

Can\'t wait to buy Airwave and Never take him out of runway mode... Just like Ironworks.

 

I wish they would re-release the original sets, tbh.

I wish they would too, and then also give us all the japanese exclusive recolors in either just plain re-releases or new molds. we got two of the autobot military patrol in that target pack though, that was nice

 

You think they would do the other members instead of just well...two packs.

 

The Earthrise ramp gimmick is so goofy.  I have 5 Soundbarries and they combine into a sidewalk.

 

So anyone here thinking Air Wave and how he kinda reminds anyone of Armada Tidal Wave?

 

Yes, that was the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw the base mode.

Lets make a deal....anyone gets Air Wave..lets do the famous Tidal Wave combo with Siege/Earthrise Megatron.

So, are these two going to be Takara Mall exclusives in Japan and general retail for the ROW? Or is it that TFWiki entry is outdated (they have still listed these as wave 2 releases)?

Yep, regular retail outside of Japan.
TT is releasing almost half of the Earthrise like as TT Mall exclusives.

 

Not really...

I did get all of Siege wave 1 which was a total of 16 figures (counting the micromasters sets as one), and only 3 deluxes and OP (leader) from Earthrise.

Then for Wave 2, all of Siege again (except for Galaxy Prime) so 10 figures, and for ER, I see only the space shuttle micromasters, 2 deluxes and the 2 voyagers that interest me.

In Siege, I ended up losing interest with the micromasters and various recolours (deluxes) which most were part of the exclusives, which while I did get several, I did skip on a lot of the recolors.

This to say that I never came so close to getting a complete series like I did with Siege. With ER, I'll barely have 1/3, maybe 1/4 of the number of figures released and skipping the Titan on this one.

So... while ER does have a FEW must-have for me, that's a huge difference of numbers that appeal to me so far.

 

I'm also annoyed, as most of the Hasbro Select exclusives (Micromaster boxed set, etc) were not released in Japan.
