Thankyou for the reply bud, most appreciated, spent ages going back through 3 siege related threads.

Isn’t there rumours/listings for siege galaxy convoy retool, and a ratchet exclusive? Also weren’t Walmart listings for a soundwave and Megatron, didn’t they have a GEN code beginning of each listing?

Ratchet is listed as an exclusive, there are 2 listings at Walmart for GEN RED Megatron and Soundwave, we don't know what they are yet.

 

Colour me interested on those Walmart listings. Shame with Ratchet though, getting the siege one was very hard to get a hold of in the uk, I imagine this one will be the same.

And wasn't the "galaxy convoy retool" actually a rumored Fire Convoy or something from RiD?

 

Just putting this out there – I would love to see and Earthrise Megatron in his G1 toy chrome paint scheme. Red inner boots, squiggly line chest, the works

 

There are three separate things happening here: 1. Line art of an Optimus Prime that looked a lot like, but not identical to, the GUOP inner bot has been seen; 2. A listing has appeared for an "Alternate Optimus" toy at leader class (I believe the pricepoint was part of the leak, but I'm not 100% on that); 3. one of our very reliable leakers discussed having seen some production art for a very recognizable RID base mode (and I think it was claimed to be an Autobot, but one would have to go back and look).

 

They could be the same.

I think what we'll get is a G1/Animated/RiD mashup since the latter two are firetrucks.

So kind of like a de-Star Convoy'd Animated Optimus with a red trailer. Basic robot mode that looks a bit like Animated and armors up as RiD Fire Convoy.

 

Oh, of course. I just wanted to clarify that we don't have a specific rumor of RID Prime coming out this summer and he's a GUOP re-use. That's one possibility, but another is that Alternate Prime is the ER mold in SG, G2, Sleep Mode, Nemesis, or some other deco and the RID thing is for WFC3.

 

Or the Rid thing was just concept art that will ultimately go unused (we saw some of that in the Megatronus/Prima retools of titans return Sky Shadow concepts from POTP)

 

Sleep mode is TF:TM dead Optimus, right? I believe there's been a significant hint in that direction.

 

I'd say 'may go unused'. If it was concept work doing the internal rounds at the same point when the Sky Lynx/Scorponok renders were, these may have been designs mooted for WfC:III. That would make sense to me, given development timeframes.
