Yeah, I'm getting him but I'm going to need an upgrade kit to fix his legs. Snapdragon looks pretty much perfect, doofy dragon mode and all.

It's quite surprising how similar the transformations are going to be for these guys compared to their original G1 counterparts. 30+ years gives us better ability to pose these guys, but the original creativity and transformation hasn't changed much.
The micromaster combined weapon modes are so bad I just pretend they don't exist.

Anyone in here have any background in physics or engineering? Because to me, those braces that fold out on the back of Double Dealer make the opposite of sense. They use those on cranes to help them from tipping over when they *lift* something heavy. Having them on a rocket launching platform doesn't add up in my head, but I have no technical knowledge to back that up.

    Thank you

Funnily enough seeing pictures of the actual toy has made me now not want Snapdragon ^^' Not a fan of the off-white and I just I dunno, he just doesn't appeal to me so much now as with the renders :-/ weird.

    Sigh.
    History lesson.
The British Empire controlled territory across the planet, and though they have generally depossed a great deal of this, there are still British holdings, businesses, etc. in some of these areas. So, logically, someone with a British accent could live in one of these places. For example, India, which is a geographic stone's throw from China.
That having been said, you could be totally right, and he is in the UK.
I'm simply saying, if you have no evidence to the contrary of a crime, maybe give him the benefit of the doubt before saying he's a thief

You should send me the armor pieces i love em! Armor up mode, hover platform, jetpack, that kick ass battleship, its awesome what you can do with that "garbage".

I dont mind the pieces when you can do that much with em. Astrotrains just suck, magnus is just armor up prime who has a lazy transformation even with the armoring up.. even jetfire the most my imagination can do with him is that its a drone when hes not fully kitted

You don't even need the British Empire history. Brits go and live in other countries all the time.

Theres plenty of evidence though including lack of packaging shots and that he has been on record saying that he has gotten them early from people and he doesnt care how they got them

I like how there seems to be painted detail in Snapdragon\'s cockpit. That was something I wish we woulda saw more of with the Titan\'s Return line with me being a sucker for toys with little figures in cockpits like that. I loved those kinda toys as a kid and part of why adult me bought nearly every TR figure that was out.

Usually I support John, but I have to disagree with his decision in making Skylinx a Commander class. It's a joke seeing how Jetfire is much taller than Skylinx when he should be in scale with any combiner bots.

Ok but based upon what static metric? You have a claim that SL should be bigger but do you have reliable official evidence or just opinion?

Many in here have shared scans from the cartoon with Sky Lynx at multiple different sizes so with so many different sizes, hes guaranteed to fit one. G1 US 1984 cartoon series is well know to have animation errors aplenty.

And also factor in that Sky Lynx alt mode is many times LARGER than his beast modes, this is true with other US 1984 G1 cartoon characters.

My preference is towards a larger figure, I personally would love a Titan Class Sky Lynx but that's my preference and theres no official S3/4 scale chart that anyones been able to find and the fan made charts with SL have been proven by members here to not be an accurate depiction

Missiles this big are heavy! They also require stable launch platforms for optimal ballistics and travel. Plus...so the missiles don't tip the entire vehicle over!

These missiles are ballistic missiles...orders of magnitude beefier than SA missiles designed to shoot down aircraft. So to support against the hellish thrust of launch, supports are needed. Here's a Scud launcher. You can see the deployable struts there
