We'll really have to see into waves 2 and 3 how pervasive the Earth modes idea is - if we get the other two Seekers, Megatron, etc., it'll be kind of bad, but if it's just a couple "headliners" to sell the line along w/the more expected runs of Autobot cars, Coneheads, Blaster, etc., then I think that's a trade-off I can appreciate and avoid.

    Ironworks looks crazy dope

Been awhile since I bought an Optimus that was released, guess this will be the one. That Grapple is awesome too.

Bummed to see the aesthetic change so drastically. Greatly preferred the dirty cybertronian modes to clean earth modes.

Same here, bye bye united grapple :)

since airwave didn’t use his name in the micro master 10 pack I suspect he could be next
And what a great idea to recycle the weaponizers concept with the micro bases

    Oh my.
On one hand, I'm disappointed that we're already moving to Earth modes and ditching the battle paint. I was seriously enjoying the Cybertronian vehicles and was hoping for more.
On the other hand, that Optimus and Grapple are beautiful!

While I adore the WfC Optimus, this new one just screams mini-MP with all those details and solid parts. The trailer, while having weird looking tandems, is a very welcome addition. I'm just glad it doesn't convert to big-boy pants and is an actual G1 bay.

I never thought a Grapple would come along that would make me rethink my Solar Storm version, but man, that is a thing of beauty!
Now to wait for the inevitable Inferno, Hauler and Artfire repaints/exclusives.

Ironworks... I freaking love MM bases, so he's an instant buy.

Same. I have zero interest in Earth modes. I'm holding on to the slim hope we might still see some Cybertronian characters from those left behind but if not I'm probably gonna be skipping 'Earthrise' (dumb name TBH) and getting the remaining Siege figures I want as they trickle through you my part of the world... I'll be honest I am seriously bummed right now :(

We might have some hope in Part 3 if it ends up being the Movie/Season 3..

I think Weaponizers and Micromasters are here to stay in the trilogy, so I'm not so sure the speculation about the third part being Beast Wars would make sense. Do we really want to see Transmetal beast figures being split apart to form chairs?

I saw this earlier but here's my thoughts after looking at it a few times.

Ditto. I get all Micromasters, so the Hotrod Patrol is a must. I was hoping to limit my budget and not get non-G1 cartoon characters, but that Ironworks just looks great. The compatibility looks amazing. I will definetely get Grapple, first modern Generations toy. I will have to see how that Leader Optimus scales with Siege Optimus and Siege Megatron. If it scales very well, I will cancel the plans to get Cel Shaded Optimus. I will definetely need comparison shots and/or size information. The Matrix is awesome.

Optimus and Grapple look great. Optimus is THE definitive G1 Classics. Hope for a deluxe Roller to complete him. Ironworks looks interesting and the Micromasters look OK.

Now that we’ve seen that Ironworks is a weaponizer base, what if the Commander that was said to compliment Omega Supreme is the Micromaster Rocket Base?

To me, the "Call of the Primitives" and "Commander Class figure to complement Omega" add up to a new Sky Lynx - he's an animal that also carries Autobots through space.

Given that empty trailer on Prime there's gotta be a Weaponizer Roller in the pipe, yeah?

Glad I held of on Siege OP now, Earthrise Prime is the Schizz!

I love Ironworks, but I'll miss the windmill. I do wish it included a G1-accurate Micromaster, or that it had a G1-accurate face.

Definitely getting Big Daddy and Trip-Up.

I'm so glad the battle damage paint and greeble detailing seem to be gone. I never disliked either mind you, but I’ve read lots and lots of comments where people ignored Siege entirely because of those factors. And they missed out on some amazing figures. Now that the things holding them back are gone - you’re in for a treat guys. Siege features the best mainline figures in quite a while IMO. It easily tops the entire Prime Wars Trilogy on its own. And it looks like it will only get better from here.

Optimus Prime? Fantastic. Not for me, but it looks great, love the yellow eyes. Ironworks? A robot that turns into a play set for the small guys? Very cool.

Grapple? Oh dear Primus, Grapple. So good. Absolutely amazing. The kind of mold that wants you to have all remolds and repaints they make from it right this instant. Count me down for the inevitable Inferno, and please make Artfire and Hauler as well, thank you.
