Is it just me, or does Smokescreen look rather Playskool?

I wasn't as fond of the Cybertronian mode of the Siege mold, but something about it looks less cheap.

I dunno. I might stick with the Universe mold for the Earth mode. This one has the Earth mode, and I like that, but there are other steps backwards that I just don't care for. I don't really care for buying the trio again, especially since Prowl and Bluestreak may end up being annoying to get exclusives.

Also, is it just me, or do the Studio Series lines have a bigger paint budget than the WFC line? Megatron is still all gray in ER, but the new 07 SS Megatron is decked out in gorgeous silver paint. What's the deal?

Smokescreen looks so basic, it's like he is straight out of the 80s cartoon cell.

So pretty much perfect.

Imo smokescreen is perfect, and I have never been a fan of him this will the first time I,get him always passed on him in favor of the prowl and bluestreak. And also imo never liked sliver paint didn't like it on cw megatron.

 

Does the japanese text say something? It seems like Sky Lynx half-transformed there to do a quip.  

Makes me so glad I caved some years ago and bought the Universe toy, did not feel like spending 100$ for the Henkei one (same for Ratchet).
In fact, gonna sell all three Datsun toys from Henkei/Universe. Never liked that mold.

Still think CW Smokescreen looks cooler, but Earthrise looks more accurate of course.
Doesn't matter. I got the three Datsuns at a size I like in siege and I'm never replacing them.

 

You can have more than one toy of the same character. Nobody needs replacing when you buy another toy of a character you already have.

 

Very true. But I opted to keep CW Prowl instead of Smokescreen. He makes the mold most his own. I'd love to keep both, but I've come to the point that I need to become more selective :/
