I wasn't suggesting just a simple redecco, for the record.   I wouldn't want door wings anyway. But that alt mode screams Jazz pretool or at least engineering re-use potential to me. Not saying it will happen or anything, but I could definitely see it.

 

Man, Smokescreen's feet are TERRIBLY hollow. I wonder if it'd impact transformation to add a panel over that hollow area? Hmm.

 

Wow normally it doesn't bother me but the way the wheels are clipped on Smokescreen really upsets me for some reason. I love the idea of an even more G1 Datsun bro but I dunno...might have to be one of those things where I see it in hand.

 

If they do a version that can have door wings or not, that is fine, but Jazz without door wings is not Jazz, IMO. Jazz was my 1st transformer (bought before the cartoon debuted) and I've always been disappointed with the animation model. I want Jazz with door wings and shoulder cannon.

 

I agree completely, he was the first Transformer I bought too, and that is the look I want.

Smokescreen’s feet look awful. It’s a shame that they couldn’t add something to fill them out, at least partially.

Geez....those are some mighty hollow feat on ol' Smokescreen! Well, I think I can live it with it; the old CHUG version was just a hot mess of a bad colour job on a really bad body mold. Heck I don't even think I can give mine away now, lol. Any how, despite the hollow feet on this version it almost looks like it walked off the screen of the old cartoon, which at this scale suits me just fine. A combination of some spiffy reprolabels and paint will fix him up nice. I really love that they got him looking more or less like his original race-car Datsun too.

Not a lot of gaps or as Dust would say "waffles"  Smokescreen's bot mode looks like a scaled down MP.

Honestly I would prefer they did Jazz without door wings. There are already more than enough white cars with door wings.

 

Yeah, I want a cartoon accurate design. Give us both options so you can please both groups.

Potp Jazz has a super floppy and extremely gappy robot mode. The alt mode is very beautiful but the robot mode literally drives me up a wall. Potp Jazz is on my list of worse Generation figures since Thrilling 30.

I feel like HasTak cranked out this design very quickly and it didn’t get the proper time to be refined and improved. It feels like a cheap $1 store toy right out of the package. /end rant

 

I soooo want a Galaxy shuttle to be done, with a nice NASA logo on him too, but lets make him a titan, have him slightly taller than jetfire but include that rocket base with him to make up for the titan class price. I really want a new rocket base, heck they probably would make it transform to a robot somehow too . As long as it looks like the rocket base from victory and zone in both vehicle mode and base mode, Id be okay if they made it also transform to a robot.
