I wish the feet were a little larger...that would offset the look of the stabilizers on the sides. As it is now, from the side, the stabilizers almost look like they ARE the feet. Might be able to just leave them swung back for a cleaner look from the front. Guess I'll find out in about 8 weeks...

 

I have mixed feelings on this figure.

On the one hand, I’ve been collecting for nearly 12 years and have yet to add an actual F-15 Starscream to my collection. I’ve been so desperate for one, actually, that I’d been considering on buying the MP-11 Starscream until this was officially revealed.

On the other hand, and these are just nit picks, I don’t like how it loses the waist swivel and I’m not a big fan of the back. There’s no detail and the nose cone just hangs off.

Again, minor nit picks but those are my problems. I might buy it anyway because, back problems aside, it looks pretty good, especially since we’ve gotten some pretty mediocre Generations Starscreams over the past 6 years or so.

 

But it’s toy accurate!  

 

Not I, but a waist swivel isn't too much to ask for considering how good Siege has been.

 

Just get the New Age figures, trust me... all the articulation you could ask for, head on a ball joint, wrist swivel, waist swivel, ankle tilt.. clean jet and robot modes, landing gear, a flight stand, laser blast effects, jet thrust effects, and it takes up less space on the shelf.

 

I will patiently wait for Thundercracker, but how long  before there  is another Seeker three pack at Target of the Genericon Seekers?

 

Toy accurate would be the way I'm suggesting.

 

And only $50 for a 3rd the size and you gotta slap a sticker on and pretend it’s Starscream.

 

Pretend? I mean... you don't have to pretend any more or less than you do with an "official" figure.

 

I kinda hope they do a Target exclusive Coneheads 3-pack for $79.99 and Target Red Card only exclusive Slipstream in 2020.   

 

I’d rather it have the symbol and the name.

 

Something about this Starscream just bugs the heck out of me. And I say that as somebody that bought umpteen versions of the old classics mold because I loved it so much. But after all these years and a considerable upsizing, this just doesn't seem to bring much new to the table. For how amazing some of the other toys in this line look, where's the wow with Starscream? I'm not seeing it.

 

Not too excited, but I'll get Starscream. Need to replace my iGear Raptors.

The classics seeker mold is amazing and before the reveal of the figure tigatron and I were talking about what it could be and I mentioned maybe it could be an upscale of the classics deluxe because it really is a near perfect modern interpretation Stracream and it really is. Personally I’m satisfied that’s where they went because I love that mold and always wanted it to be voyager size so I’m getting what I want.

 

Man it would really suck if you received a box where someone scratched off the name.

why do you have a problem if he prefers an actual official representation of a character over an unlicensed 3p version?

 

I mean, it says Starscream on the Earthrise's box... not much room for pretend.

One is actually Starscream, made by the company that legally owns Starscream, one is not Starscream, made by a company that doesn't own it and just made it look like Starscream.

 

And how much does the legends figure cost? And how much would it cost if you included the licenses, safety testing and certificates and used a voyager figures amount of plastic? I’m not keen on the screamer myself, but that’s because of the lack of waist, not the reused engineering
