Man, oh man. A LOT of assumptions, here. Let's dig in. Uh...KO I get, but 3p/IP? What on Earth does one have to do with the other? How does a factory worker running off with stolen merchandise contribute to 3rd party? IP theft, even? If it's an OSKO, then yeah, that directly affects it. If it's FP/MT or UT or FT, then no. I kind of, sort of get what you're trying to say, but you're muddying the waters and they're already pretty much a paste. The point is no one has the right to steal from a billion dollar company or a home business. Period. Theft is one of those things in which pretty much ALL countries and their governing bodies agree that you don't do it at any level. Robin Hood sounds good on paper, not so much in action. Sure, it's nice to see people get their comeuppance, but he and his band are still criminals and thieves. Period. Just because you do something wrong for the right reasons, doesn't mean it's actually right. Does that mean legal and moral go hand in hand? No. Do the wrong thing for the right reasons if it'll change people's lives. Stealing a toy out of a factory for YouTube fame ain't it. Uh, no. We're not all like that. I used to be but stopped once my wife and kid came into my life and I saw what was wrong with me. I hate what I was and will do everything in my power to avoid it. I used to buy "samples" on eBay, I used to "stream" movies and music. You should see my internet services bill. I might buy too much needless stuff, now. But...I can lay my head down at night knowing I did right and will continue to. I actually enjoy things more this way. I'm not salty in the least about not having Earthrise anything. It'll come when it comes. I watch the videos for basically the same reason. I kind of like to know that my $50.00 is going to something that deserves it. (GFOP is one that sucks balls for that price.) Do I want to give the reviewer and revenue by watching it? No. That's still an internal struggle for me and me alone to worry about, it's no one else's business. But at least I can admit that it's morally ambiguous and that's on me. I own it and my previous mistakes and learn from them and change. A lot of people are doing that, now. Just because some of the members on this board don't share the same mindset, doesn't mean we're all like that.
