When do we expect the first ER toys to start shipping?

The first order of business will be removing all of that crap on the doors and spoiler.

Awesome! Man I love Cliffjumper's transformation. I swear it reminds me of the new MP Bee but vastly simplified, and with partsforming in place of the swinging through the body steps. (Also, anyone who criticizes Cliffjumper for the partsforming but says they love that Ironworks is dead to me j/k :lol )

...but y tho? XD I mean, that's Wheeljack. Are you planning to do new decals or do you just prefer a more plain or clean look for the car mode?

I'm looking forward to everyone but Cliffjumper, at this point. Optimus isn't as good as Siege's version when it comes to leg transformation, but I'm really impressed with what I see so far.

I think we're going to enjoy Earthrise, more than we expected. I can't wait to see what comes in later waves, the stuff we didn't expect.

    2020 should be pretty cool.

The only thing negative I have to say about it is that I think the feet look funky. Otherwise it’ll easily become the best G1 jetmode Starscream.

No, you're not. He looks like someone took Classics Starscream, threw him into a magnifying machine of some sort and said "here you go!"

He feels like a step back, in some ways. Perhaps the Siege Seekers are a tad too simple, but they were a new design and a new take. We thought that idea would carry over, but it didn't.

To be fair, though, Hasbro's in the business of making money and this is the path of least resistance when it comes to making figures, so I can't entirely blame them, I suppose.

I just hope they have something special hidden inside of it that makes us want to buy him...

Earthrise Starscream seems worse to me than the original classics mold. Not only does it do the whole big box under a plane thing, it also has a huge loop sticking out where the cockpit locks in in robot mode that's so egregious they can't even hide it in top-down alt mode photos. At some point I'd really like to see them put some minor effort into Starscream's alt-mode. Having a great big block of folded up robot parts hanging underneath an F-15 isn't working anymore.

Still loving Cliffjumper. Wheeljack has some pluses and minuses. Ironworks is gonna become a god in my toyroom. There's a lot to look forward to here.

didnt the original have that loop aswell? i think itd be hard to get a perfect jet mode from a chug-budgeted figure. i dont like that its a classics2.0, but i dont think its a bad figure. only reason im not getting it is the lack of a waist.

Awesome! Just awesome! Wheeljack looks magnificent, like a mini version of his Masterpiece counterpart. Well, I would say that's it for my CHUG version, which I really liked actually. This however is is just so totally on point with the car mode, and with the inevitable Reprolabels set it really will be like a mini (and cheaper!) Masterpiece figure. Really hope that Jazz and Sunstreaker are on the Earthrise radar, and if so, hopefully Hasbro can come as close as they did here in making mini replicas of a modified Countach and the old Porsche 935.

Functionally the Classics had it but it didn't stick out at the bottom. The EarthRise one looks like the DX9 Legends scale Starscream in that respect. However, the EarthRise one, I think has that thing sticking out as a compromise for robot mode. In robot mode, I don't think the nose of the jet, turns with the head, unlike the Classics one.

I'm planning to get the EarthRise one but am itching to see just how much articulation it has. For SIEGE Starscream, its full articulation wasn't really shown until Takara showed their resin prototypes. Hasbro's EarthRise Starscream sample has been in pretty static poses.

Re: ER Starscream and perceived shortcomings others have mentioned (not saying this to bash the figure at all, I actually like it, just for conversational purposes, but) ...

Yeah, and according to TFWiki (take with a grain of salt as it lacks references/sources for this claim) this Starscream is devoid of waist articulation.
I can't confirm that independently, but everything I've seen so far leads me to believe it's true. I don't see any waist articulation on him.

I'm also never a fan of the recessed cockpit look for Starscream bot modes, personally. Consequently, Starscream (due to the above) and Cliffjumper (just due to the lack of chest spoiler and a general lack of evoking G1 for me personally) are my least favorite molds revealed so far for this line, but I still like them both a lot as figures. And I love CJ's transformation, in fact.
