It's obviously a toy. If it is G1 or BW. But claiming people being 5. Well there is a reason TF went downhill with the BW era. Not saying it isn't good. But the changes were not all for the better. As for a entire back half of a car not transforming but just pegging in and being able to "wield it" ouch that is just no a good thing for something from the G1 era esthetically speaking.

This probably isn't what you're looking for, but I think it's safe to assume Wheeljack is in line with the other autobot cars in terms of size.

Whoever thinks the beast era was when transformers started slipping then that\'s some close minded thoughts right there, they had way more articulation in more of the figures, and had cool hideable gear
even if it meant some toys look incomplete or eviserated without them,
I think cliff looks great and can\'t wait for the eventual bumblebee from him even though I really wanted a cybertronian g1 bee and wheeljack oh well maybe in the next decade seeing as how long it took for tetra jets XD

Really no Autobot symbol anywhere on the front? I would believe it if this was presented as a 3P figure or a knockoff. Looks kinda plain this way. Do I have to use one of my spare faction logo stickers on an official mass release toy?

Does anyone know when it'll be released in Japan? If I have to wait really long, I might as well just buy the Hasbro one sooner

Damn, looking at that pic with Prime, Cliffjumper is still too tall. He looks like he is going to be a head taller than the rest of the minibots including Brawn. That aint right. And whats up with the parts forming backpack ? No bueno...

Just my opinion but I think this scale looks great... Also I think that partsforming backpack can be used as a shield? Or something

Is it a bad time to point out we've had partforming toys since 84?

Hasbro keeps making things that look like they needed another couple of months of revisions before getting the moulds made.

They make to many toys that are best described as ones that are VERY hard to justify their price point, I look back at what we got in the golden age of 2010 and feel sadness.

It's not that they are bad exactly - (kinda like the entire Cyberverse line isn't exactly bad) it's just undercooked.

It's like someone made you a cake and it's raw in the middle then they iced it in green icing with green piping and covered it in green frosting decoration It's like they are so proud of what they did - yet somewhere along the line they went a bit wrong.

In a way Earthrise Optimus Prime is the poster boy for the entire line - he's not exactly "Bad" he's just bland.
Same with this Cliffjumper he's like Siege Mirage or Impactor just sort of "meh". But like I've said before i'd say that about the vast majority of Transformers in the Warden era.

If they want to keep charging premium prices I really would appreciate a bit more 2010 style effort going into things - Transformers used to be line that each version of it added something beneficial to the line - even if it took something away and even Siege does that, Earthrise seems like another POTP - just a lot of low effort rehashes ; that are really not worth bumping existing figures to the back of the shelf over.

No problem at all with the parts forming. I just want a good looking figure matching the g1 look. Preferably with a good looking altmode too. And this Cliffjumper does exactly that; right look, right scale and nice altmode.. Don't mind the little 'cheat' in transformation

Why would you want Cliffjumper to be taller than the rest of the minibots ? Especially Bumblebee ?
The sheild is whatever. Ive never been a fan of removable kibble parts dubbing as sheilds as an attempt to justify their existance. The worst perpetrator of all was Seaspray's accessory. It really looked like a small pizza box.

I just don’t understand why nobody has taken a photo/video of this toy with a legends class figure

It is the main thing that matters about this figure and everyone has dropped the ball on it

I am still glad hasbro finally made a proper cliffjumper after waiting almost 14 years.

I can't speak for @XaxisGuy, but personally, since the scale unified to a comfy 1:35, my collection priority has been to get all characters in that scale going forward since it's the scale most likely to be standard from now on. And that leaves the older Minibots(PotP and before) completely irrelevant. That makes Cliffjumper the only valid Minibot now, until the rest are done in the 1:35 scale.

I like it more than I thought I would. Wonder when we'll see the repaint and if it'll be Hubcap or some other character.
