Rhinox looks boss not sure if I'll grab him as at this point I've removed Dinobot, Cheetor and any non G1 beast from my collection. Doubledealer is not what I want from the Blitzwing mold Hasbro. #Team_Flywheels

 

Well, Tigatron was more or less a Cheetor recolour in the show, so doing the same with a figure of him wouldn't be too inaccurate. Only issue would be finding a way to make Tigatron taller than Cheetor.

I think that the most likely re-use would be the purple Predacon Rhinox from Dark Designs.

 

Swerve YES, Cosmos kinda yah, Skids kinda yeah, Double Dealer above average yeah. The rest...to oblivion they shall proceed.

dang, I know that decepticons don't sell as well as autobots, and creating new parts molds is expensive, blah, blah, blah, but considering how much retooling Sandstorm got, Doubledealer is looking kind of cheap. I think the colors are spot on though, probs going to impulse buy it.

 

All of the new Generations and BW figures look amazing, and I really want Skids, Goldfire(bug), Cosmos, Rhinox, Doubledealer, Dreadwing, and Hoist. Those new Beast Hunters.. I can care less. Yay(sarcasm), Deluxes with Cyberverse posibility, how will the Prime toy designers screw up next?

 

i really wish hasbro would take another stab at dinobot and cheetor.

hasbro's dinobot was hideous. i own both universe dinobot and henkei dinobot. the henkei version looks good.. but i think the mold could be better.

the dinosaur head is just awful.

hopefully once takara finishes the G1 MP cast, they'll do a couple beast wars figures. megatron, primal, and dinobot. (even though the anniversary (or whatever) primal was practically perfect.

i think rhinox and waspinator both look fantastic.. as do the other new mold generation figures.. i kind of wish generations would focus more on beast wars characters.. that's only because i'm getting my G1 fix from the masterpiece line lol.. but hey, i'm not complaining.

 

am i the only one who thinks skids could be a bit more tardis blue?

I may be crazy, but Swerve is, by far, my favorite of the upcoming transformer revealed. I don't remember anything about the character and the I didn't have the G1 toy, but the update looks awesome. I also like the Micromaster that comes with him. I really hope he is repainted as Gears as well.

 

Seconded. Though I'm really happy they made Rhinox a toy that was going to be released in 2008 who knows maybe they'll use other unused 2008 idea such as SUV Soundwave

 

Generations beast wars?
I am all of the in.

 

To me, a "true" Ultra Magnus toy would be an Ultra Class sized update of the original character but made using today's Transformers toy making technologies and designed to have tons of points of articulation in robot mode and be perfectly in scale with Classics Voyager Optimus Prime in both modes. But, instead of becoming a cab-over style Car-Carrier, he transforms into a fictional version of Movieverse Prime's vehicle mode in Ultra Magnus' colors but pulling a permanently attached car-carrier-type trailer.And I don't think that it would be a good thing for an Ultra Magnus toy to be a brick-former. I see brick-formers as bad toys and as anachronisms when compared to today's transformers figures. That's why I prefer the Classics seeker mold over the G1 Seeker mold.

 

I want Rhinox, Waspinator, all Legends figures, Skids, Goldfire, and everything else, but DoubleDealer and Dreadwing are no-goes.

 

What you want is a Masterpiece Ultra Magnus, because those demans are completely and utterly unreasonable for a line like Generations.

If we get a Generations Magnus anytime soon it would most likely be the IDW Magnus design like how every current Genereations figure is based on the IDW designs, and as such it would require a parts-forming armour, and that's something I don't see Hasbro doing anytime soon.
