Rhinox is beyond.. everything... ever!!!

 

I was not much on Beast Wars toys back in the day, but looking at that Rhinox, how can I NOT get that? He looks fantastic! Plus he has the Chain Guns of DOOOM!

 

I hope Rhinox's panels don't break when you try to untab him from Beast Mode.

I want an Evil Purple Predacon Rhinox that calls everyone "Sport" at some point - as Tokyo Toyshow exclusive for example.

 

That Cosmos,skids looks great and I think I am going to have to get him and that double dealer is cool in that blitzwing mold so I might have to get him too.

Happy as hell to see that guy, even if his hips ARE a little low. Hopefully there's a sliding mechanism like on Cybertron Scourge to move those hips up a little. As for Doubledealer, why did Sandstorm get a complete overhaul but DD only gets a new head? I'm afraid I'll probably pass on him now, he just reminds me of Blitzwing, ah well.

 

While they're all not-too-shabby, I do LOVE that they are finally giving poor skids some Generations love! He looks really bad-ass now!  

The one thing that is disappointing to me tho is that while we almost have all the 86 movie cast, we still have yet to have an accurate G1 Arcee & Ultra Magnus! Sure, there have been many Arcees lately by 3rd party companies, one in particular that came close to her G1 likeness but fell short, yet, still no official CHUG version. Hasbro needs to finally listen & realize that not only woluld she would most likely be a hot item & hard to keep in stock, but she should be made her as her auto & not bike, version!

Ultra Magnus, a true Ultra Magnus (not a re-popped & recolored classics Optimus with 3rd party add-ons) made to look as accurate as possible to his movie self would, i'm very confident, be a top seller! And fer sure, he should at least be a Voyager class or better still, a leader class sized, figure!

Really really hope we get to see these guys in the near future!

Don't have your hope that much up. A" true" Ultra Magnus toy would have to include not only a transformable toy but also a parts-forming armor to put around said toy. That's just TOO much work to put into it unless they just go full G1 unmovable brick glory on him.

But if they did go and make an UM it would most likely be based on the IDW design like every toy we've seen so far.

Well Rattrap will appear in RID and his design is pretty much the season one design...so I wouldn't count him out just yet.

 

Combined funding for the two was mostly spent on Sandstorm?

 

I look at it this way personally, " If HasTak can give us a forthcoming beast like the the TITAN class (god how I love that class name!) Metroplex, then a simple little thing like a true UM (combining trailer bits included) couldn't be too hard a thing to accomplish could it?  

 

I'm getting a kind of Overlord feel from Doubledealer as others have said. It's a shame that its NOT Overlord as I felt that it wouldn't have been too hard to dress that mold up as him with each alt mode being Giga and Mega.

 

Skids! Thank god! One of my fav characters from mtmte (more than meets the eye) and he looks beautiful! Man that vehicile mode

 

Titanium Ultra Magnus is a great updating to the G1 original.
