Is it wrong of me that I actually think those tweaked Upscaled Cyberverse commander Optimus and Predaking actually work quite well - and indeed I'd like to see them reverse them back down to the smaller size as the proportions are superior to the Cyberverse commander versions too.

Not that i'd want to pay £25.00 for them each - but they have a "simple" charm to them and the 'play on the carpet' factor to them. I'd not want all Voyagers to be so simple but they are a interesting idea if 'the price is right'. And it soon gets you thinking.. Upscaled Breakdown, Upscaled BH Bulkhead, Upscaled Hardshelll etc...

Perhaps this simple style would suit IDW Optimus Prime too if he was made as a Voyager ?

Yes, it was announced a while ago, he's in the wave after Pax/Megatron/Bee/Trailcutter, along with Hoist.

At the risk of derailing this otherwise awesome thread, I think I'm done with this particular discussion. You're trying to start a debate that's nowhere close to what Thundershot and myself were getting at.

i'm only a casual collector, but I've been this excited for new toys in a while! Most of them appeal to me! I wish swerve was a deluxe though. He was my first transformer ever and I would love to see that version of him.

Rhinox , beast hunters deluxe prowl, waspinator and skids are bought. Can't believe a voyager Rhinox is being made. Hope beast wars updates keep coming. Would love if they took another swing at cheetor so they could make him and tigatron.

Disappointed so far. I was hoping for a Generations Arcee and Broadside.

Doubledealer out of Blitzwing? Who saw that coming? Maybe they fixed the shoulder issue...Ah, well. Cosmos looks good.

Not interested in beasts at all. I wish they would finish the G1 season 2 and 3 casts before moving on to Beast Wars.

Hopefully they'll have more to show off between now and Comic-con.

I really didn't expect Doubledealer. The Rhinox was a bit more expected but not how crazy good it looks. Looking forward to reviews of that thing, for sure.

Rhinox is beautiful... but honestly, has no place in my collection. Literally.

Doubledealer is kinda generic for a repaint, but I guess we've been spoiled lately with Sandstorm. Probably won't be getting any of these... not counting Whirl, have to SEE him first.

Looks like they were holding back the good stuff for today... :lol

Rhinox = So he's the BW voyager they were referring to a few years ago. I'm impressed!

Waspy = My first impression is that he doesn't look that different to his original figure. I'll probably still pick him up.

Doubledealer = A repainted Blitzwing? Really? I'm sorry but that just doesn't say "Doubledealer" to me.

Skids = I was expecting a re-mold of the Trailbreaker/Hoist deluxe. But this sure is different. Given that the last comic I've read was LSOTW, Skids was definitely a surprise. I'm on the fence about this guy... but I probably will still end up picking him up.

Swerve & Cosmos = Of course I'll be acquiring them - These guys are no-brainers! :lol

    Skids is mine
    Waspinator is mine
    Rhinox is mine

Might pass on double dealer. The mold is just too much of Blitzwing.

Honestly, I am not a Beast Wars fan (don't flame me, I don't HATE the beast era, I just grew up with and am more familiar with the G1 cartoon/comics/toys and generally tend to lean towards G1 and Neo G1 sensibilities such as reissues/chuugs/masterpieces/ and the like), but that Rhinox and Waspinator really grabbed my attention! Absolute must buys. Skids, Doubledealer, Cyberverse Bludgeon, Swerve and Cosmos are all on the buy list as well.

I'd love to see more FoC Thundercracker pictures. He's just photobombing a couple of the Waspinator pictures.
